Credit/XP Grinding Per Hour - Community Spreadsheet

I don't think there is any place that tells you what the top 6 positions pay like there is for the individual races, but you do get additonal credits and xp when you finish, so we should be able to fill those in as we get them.
See my B-Spec Poly Cup records, as I already have the credit info entered for it.
 
With an X1 you can do 17 "Like The Wind" races at Indianapolis per hour (including one minute loading time).

That is 17 x 70.000 = 1.190.000 Credits per hour

With a fully tuned Corvette ZR1 plus race modification I can do 12 "American Championship" races at Indianapolis races per hour (including one minute loading time).

That is 12 x 98.000 = 1.176.000 Credits per hour

Depending on the speed of your hard disc (loading times), the X1 solution may give you a little more money. It definitely increases your overall mileage faster, but if this your goal, play the Indy 500.

The second solution gives more EXP tough.
 
Does anyone know if B-Spec rewards the same XP as A-Spec?
Will save a lot of time if the XP is the same.
 
Prize money and Experience are different for A-Spec & B Spec.

I've been plotting the Endurance races and this is what i have so far.

Can someone guide me my b-spec is lvl 26 doing the 4hr mazda event but this is long and won't level me up fast whats my other option or what event do people use to level up at my level?

They level up pretty quickly once the Endurance events are opened up. I usually leave the B-Spec guys doing an Endurance race through the night while i'm asleep, and i set them off again while i'm at work.

do the dreamcar c'ship for xp and credits. if you want just xp, the indy500miles is the best according to my calculator and the completion times i've gathered.

I know this doesn't help a great deal for lower levels,
but this is the one to aim for if you want a good quick earner.

A-Spec Extreme
Indy Super Speedway (First race)

98,000 for 1st place.

Using a maxed Corvette ZR-1 RM you can run a lap in 43 seconds.
Winning the race in about 4 minutes.

I think this race is by far the best race to participate in, if you're currently grinding for cash and credits. 98,000 cr and 4440 xp, even if you aren't the best driver, you can easily complete this race in under 4 minutes with a ZR1 RM. 👍
 
It's looking good, I got a bunch of B-Spec times in last night.
Did you get the car I sent you for the Japan Classic Race?

Also, you might want to consider switching the columns for 1st place credits and experience on the "main" sheet.
I had several people think those first two fields were first and second place credits, and therefore thought the data was wrong.
I think if you put Experience first, and then follow it with Credits 1 to 5 it will be more clear.
Maybe even put in a small blank divider column to separate experience from the credits group, so it's obvious that it is something different which will make them look up and pay attention to the column headings.

That is the ugliest purple I have ever seen on the experience column!

I was thinking a passive green would go well with the yellow and gray.
Nothing like lime or floursecent green, kind of a matte green.
A blue might not be bad either, but you already use blue for the B-Spec headers, that's why green came to mind.
Check out the color I change column 6 on the credit page to. You can set it back to yellow after you see it.
It's dead center, second row from the top on the color palette.
 
It was a bit too dark for my liking. Needs to be clear for the text to show though.
 
I think the light blue is a little too passive. It doesn't make the column pop as much as it should.
FYI, I'm not trying to cause trouble or make work, it's just that this is what I do for a living (software design developer and presentation) so I'm just naturally pulled into this level of analysis!
 
That's a classic problem with computer monitors, you aren't dealing with a standard. People can modify their contrast, brightness, etc. to any level they want.
That green was crisp and readable on my screen.
That's what makes the design so challenging, is trying to account for the variations!

Changing the gray to that green looks good though, and it pulled the blue right back in line. Nicely done.

I must have sent you the Japan car after midnight last night, because I went to send the muscle car and it gave me the one car per day error.
If you aren't in a rush, I'll send you one tonight after midnight my time (8 hours from now).
 
Yeah no rush. Thanks anyway. I would buy a car but I already bought one which isn't fast enough. Waste of money. Don't want to spend on it any more than I already have :(

These are the cars I used to win all the B-Spec events, so you know if they were good enough for Bob, they will work well for you. :cool:
 
I was entering B-Spec number and found that the World Compact races in Beginner are a Championship. There are rows for the 3 races, but a row needs added for the overall credits. :)

Here's a few numbers to think about. I'm sitting here comparing the American Championship Indy race to the enduro's which are ≈ 2 hours long.

For 2 hours of the Indy race (American Championship - Extreme A-Spec), you get these numbers:


2 hrs ≈ 97,680 EXP
2 hrs ≈ 2,156,000 Cr.


This is assuming that you are completing the event 11 times per hour. I was able to do 12 times in an hour really staying on top of the loading parts, etc.


I know that the Dream Car Championship also has a 10-lap Indy race, which pays out less credits, but more EXP. I'm about to run that one and time it. When I'm finished I'll post the numbers for that one as well. I'll be running it with the Audi R10, so keep in mind that if you have the Formula GT you can probably add more races to the total within 2 hours.
 
Okay, so with one minute added to the event for loading times, the Dream Car Championship Indy 10-lap event took 8 minutes, and paid 74,800 Cr. and 9819 EXP.

So, in two hours for that event, the numbers would look something like this:

2 hrs ≈ 1,122,000 Cr.
2 hrs ≈ 147,285 EXP
 
New problem:
Under B-Spec professional, there are these two events:
"British Lightweight: La Fiesta Cavallino
"
"British Lightweight: Autodromo Nazionale Monza
"

Only problem is, there are no races under the British Lightweights for these names.
What does exit is a series called "La Fiesta Cavallino" which has one race at "Autodromo Nazionale Monza".
So those two rows need combined into one, and the titles updated appropriately.
I did put the correct credit values into the top row, so don't delete them.
 
OK, with exception to the problems I've listed above, B-Spec is looking pretty good.
I have entered credit information for all of B-Spec, with the exceptions of the FGT series and the last few Endurance races, as I have not yet unlocked them in order to be able to see the info.
I also entered my times that I had for about half of the B-Spec series, which at least got about have the data on the main sheet to calculate. As I continue to grind, I'll put it whatever times I run, in both A and B Specs.
This will be very handy for folks once it's complete, good job.

And I will send over your muscle car tonight.
 
Thank's for the help on this, just a few more races and were close to having the credits complete.

I've fixed the missing championships and British Lightweight.
 
Of course, now the entire spreadsheet is wrong since they released 1.05 today and increased the values of all the events in A and B Spec.

Relax, it's untill the end of Jan. And the benefits surely overpass your great work here? The work is appreciated 👍

Well hopefully (although I doubt it) they will post what the new values are. Entering the information isn't too bad, getting it is the hardest part.

I see what you mean about this being only a temporary upgrade. No loss here then although it does mean this sheet cannot be updated now for a month as the credits are different. For that reason I will lock the credits sheet.

Does anyone know if XP is affected?
