I decided to buy a Logitech MOMO racing wheel to use for my PS2, and it works fine technically speaking, but is crooked a little bit to the left for some reason, and makes racing quite difficult. I read an article early claiming that some of these wheels were made like that, and that a patch was to be later released, but I can not find that patch. Anyone have an idea of what I can do?

i dont own a wheel, but i have used someone elses. isnt there a way to calibrate the wheel, under the options menu. also, try turning it off and then on. when u turn the other logitec wheel on, the wheel turns left/right and then centers.

thats all i can suggest

How on earth would you install a patch into a PS2?

Seriously though, as SaleenASL pointed out you should be able to set it up via the Options menu.

i have the gt force wheel and it has the same problem, when calibrating it set it very slightly to the right. this fixed my problem.
hope it helped

Hello...

You can a practitioner to commission so. to insert a ohmic resistance on the Wheel potentiometer !

On this Page , is a instruction .

http://jensschumi.tripod.com/LogiCorner.htm
Please klick on the left side by option Wheel !

In my Wheel, I have insert a (1M Ohm electric resistance and a 1M Ohm potentiometer inline ) parallel to the Original Pod ( Pin 1 to 3 )
This works good and my Wheelcenter is absolutely perfect now .

But You cant to adopt the plan, without a new calculation, with the values from Your specific Wheel !

If You have to ascertained the mechanical Center, the ohmic resistance must be nearly identic on either side .
( Pin 1 to Pin 2 = Pin 2 to Pin 3 )

The accuracy of all statemennt's are without engagement !

Every minimalst accessories-modify that connect with the Playstation ,

to kills the warranty from Playstation and the accessories !!!

Selfe made / Modify, is only for people with the Technical / Electrical knowedge !

Other people, without this knowedge, can only to commission a practitioner to do this conversions .

So Long
Werner
