If you need coin and have opened the A level of racing get the TUNED CORVETTE, reassign the left trigger to accelerate, set to Automatic Transmission, enter the A-1 race and Cruise to Easy Money!

You can rest the controller along side your leg, use ONE HAND - You only need ONE HAND on the Controller!! - and the coin will roll in.

It is almost impossible for the TUNED CORVETTE to lose control. You can keep it floored all the way!

I put my Sony HDTV in split screen with GT5P on one side and TV on the other, watch TV and rake in the money sipping on the libation of my choice with my FREE HAND!

I love the racing in the game. I use this for the big bucks for the expensive cars.

Does it not somewhat... suck out the fun?

It's the A-1 race.
I love racing.
I just don't like racing the same event over and over and over again to get the top dollar cars.

The A-1 race: Gran Turismo All Star => Daytona Speedway, 5 laps, 20.000 cr.

I have a better solution. The S-9 race: Third Supercar Festival => Daytona Speedway, 5 laps, 32.500 with the Fort GT LM Spec II test car.

This is ofcourse only possible if you have finished all the A events and have unlocked the S event.

:)

I find it better to go online to rais money. Yestruday I got close to 500,000 credits in few hours! And a lot more fun then doing same o same o laps.

Well:

Since I went on last night and raced online with the Tuned vette and won the Pro-Daytona race a bunch of times and made $45,000 a pop, I don't think I need to make the oval race money. Now remember online is only 3 laps, so it's quicker too. Even if you only come last or in the middle you still make a chunk of change.

Yea racing online is more fun and challenging against certain drivers and it also has great money, I have worked up over 1 million credits already :). Now what to spend it on :D

Online is the way to go alright. They are throwing cash at you if you have the skills and consistency to get a podium finish! Lately, I have been earning almost a million a night.

I'm already at the 2,000,000cr limit, so I spend a million on cars, and race again to get it back. I have used this system to get hold of all the Gran Turismo Concepts (I managed that in a two nights!), all the Ferraris, and every other car of note. at the moment, I'm just collecting the cars that no one races online. Should be finished by tonight, tomorrow by the latest.

I'm almost certain that within less than a week (and with some solid driving) it is possible to get every single car in the game, and have enough credits left to buy the F2007 once all the S-Class events are completed. 👍

The point here is that you can do this race with ONE HAND easily!!
This can be helpful to some people here.
Relax, win money, get cars...
Then change the settings back to normal on the controller and RACE!

Racing online is the best way to make quick money. I've made over 1 million credits from doing nothing but having fun races with GTP'ers.

As a matter of fact, even if you suck and finish like 7th or 8th, you STILL get more money than racing A-1. :)

Suzuka online 700 points is the way to go. I'm at 2 Millions credits with nothing else to buy. Even if you don't finish first, the rewards are very big on this event.

Is 2.000.000 cr still the max you can earn? I heard that that will change.

It may change, but for now it is the limit.

One thing that got me was the first time I got to 2,000,000cr. I sold a car, and was informed that I would not receive any money for the sale. I was a little miffed, but not as miffed as what happened next!

Like I said, clicked the sell button, and got the message saying that I would not recieve any cash for the sale, and (thinking logically), I assumed that I would have an option to cancel the sale - HELL NO!!! The car was sold, I got nothing, and there was nothing I could do about it. :grumpy:

They may of sorted this with the update, but just incase they haven't, Sellers beware! 👍

That may be a stupid question but why would you sell a car when you have enough credits? With the online mode, you don't really need to sell anything.
When playing offline only, then I can see the need yes.
