If you missed out on the preorder back in November Thomas recently posted they have some available to order right now in the EUR and US Fanatec Webshops. The US shipment cleared customs and is enroute to the warehouse for immediate shipping.
 
YES!! Thank you! Finally! I drove home from work just to place my order becuase the Fanatec site is blocked from our domain!! :lol:

So my best guess is that this new batch will have the latest firmware???

Their has been a real lack of reviews on the pedals and in particular with the "inversion kit"

I hope to have my "CSR Elite Pedal Review & Comparison" finished within the next couple of days. It already weighs in with over 60 hours work having 100+ edited photos showing just about every possible change/position and breakdown of the componets. Well these pedals deserved some "Latte Loving" and hopefully it will be a good future guide for others to help decide to purchase.






I added a "Clubsport Brake Spring" & "Clutch Spring" for Throttle -
Part recommendations I make in the review for Fanatec to consider offering.

The batch in shipment 1 will have 707 according to a post by Thomas on his blog. Not sure about the second batch arriving in a couple days but I would assume they will have 707 as 715 and newer came out after those wheels were in transit. Thomas has promised the new firmware will be available very soon......they are just finishing up a new bootloader that will be more user friendly as the current one has given issues running smoothly on anything but XP.

Someone also mentioned that it will only work on a 32-bit OS? I hope someone can confirm this since I have 64 running on AHCI. I REALLY want to make sure I don't mess up the firmware upgrade since it can actually be fatal.

AHCI has no bearing on the upgrade procedure. The 32 bit XP seems to have more success flashing.
 
Cant wait, just got my pre-order late last night the second i read this and paid in full. Delivery said 2-5 days, can anyone confirm that this will be true? Kind of hard to believe but i'll keep my fingers crossed

depends on how many extra wheels are being shipped and how many orders are being placed.

The first pre-order lasted about 10 days. Wish you luck and hope you can get your order before it sells out again :)

sure he is, you have to be mad to NOT keep gear like this and Latte definitely isn't mad :)
