Yeah the Thrustmaster doesn't have the wobble. I believe this to be PD not fixing the Logitech drivers in the past (not sure about current patch) and since the Fanatec emulates the G27.... doh

@OP: Would you personally drive with drift mode on during normal races or not? Just curious. Loved the vids though, also with the x2011/2010 the thing seems great. No wheel wobble like I have even with my T500 sometimes. Maybe you could show us the long straights with the x2011/2010 on Le Mans? That way we can see how heavy it reacts to bumps as well. Just a thought.

No he isn't. The angle of view of his TV/monitor is just crap. lol
I clearly saw clean tarmac at some point in that video. I think it was in between the two tunnels of a particular circuit.

lol yeah sorry, I'm using an S95 since I don't have a video cam. I also think it's because of my LED glass screen. I remember recording on my LCD before the upgrade, and the recording quality was great.

Glad you liked them. I personally would not drive with drift mode on, at least not with GT5. You would find centering the car too sensitive since the real car weight feel isn't there. What settings would you like me to do the straight on Le Mans?

No problem. The wheel does spin just as fast when drift mode is off, but since I'm not too pro at drifting, it was harder for me to swing the car at the same time locking the wheels all the way right to left and vice versa. I've been practicing with drift mode off and I was occasionally able to make the wheel spin just as fast when locking. I used FFB 6 though since it was not easy doing it at 10. My first vid has drift mode off in case I didn't mention it earlier. I can make a vid if you want again, but to answer your question...yes it does spin just as fast when drift mode is off.

im really thinking about getting this wheel. I have 2 g27 one is still in the box unopened. I read i can uuse the g27 pedals, but can i use the g27 H shifter? I play forza 4 and Iracing.

Don't mind it myself that much. It could've been glare on the glass screen then from sunlight. The LCD screen you had before probably had an anti-glare coating or screen. Anyway, don't mind it.

Well, when I have my wheel (T500 RS) at FFB Strength 10 and Simulation with Power Steering, then I still feel like it wants to tear my hands off on a bump. Now since I never drove on a circuit before I can only imagine it feels a bit too sudden for me. So please use your own settings that you'd normally use to drive with. I wonder if the strength will be more gradual like then with the T500. As in that you feel the wheels pulling to a side rather then having them slam to one side all of a sudden. Especially since everyone says that the Elite feels so real and smooth.

Yes, in fact I am using the G27 pedals if you look closely on my last vid. It works like a charm and the adapter is just 5 bucks. Unfortunately, you won't be able to use the G27 shifter though. There is someone who did a mod on another Fanatec wheel which requires hours of work and soldering expertise, but I also heard it doesn't work as well. The upgrade from a G27 is nice since the belt driven FFB is so much smoother and precise in even the slightest FFB effect. I feel it's a great investment. The quality of the wheel is impressive. Words can't describe how great this wheel is which is why I wanted to share as much as I can through videos with everyday ordinary gameplay. I plan on starting iRacing soon and I hear the CSR Elite is very precise on those laser scanned tracks. Are there drift tracks in iRacing?

Well I will tell you that you are immensely more experienced than I am. lol
I hardly race competitively these days since I'm practicing my drifts everyday. The CSRE is great! You are very lucky to be CSW tester, I hope you get it soon. So I'll do the vid after I upgrade to Firmware 721b.

Wait a minute, since you're using PC, I would imagine you can use the shifter as long as both wheels are plugged in. I could be wrong though. Hopefully someone can clarify. I might try it when I find time.

Yes the Turtle Beaches are amazing! I had them for two years and they still work and look new!

4th Vid is up guys! Logi, I decided to run it at FFB 10 and steering wheel level 100. And I was able to make it clear dimming the brightness so it should be clearer to see 👍 All assists and aids are off. Simulation steering and power-assisted steering off.

when i used the redbull car i first had it at ffb 10(ingame) and 100 on the wheel omg that was crazy lol and i keep it like that for a good 10+ laps my arms were tired and i had trouble keeping it from wobbling on the straights

It better not have been at LeMans or Nurburgring because my arms were killing me even after 1 lap. glad you liked the vids 👍

I'll see if I can find out how my friend modded his shifter. He mounted the G25 shifter to his PWTS. Lightning fast shifs with gating on the shifter you likely love. Calibration however is a problem he needs to get around as reverse can't be calibrated when everything is assembled.

I'll see if I can somehow put in words what he did reliably. If I can't I won't post as I don't want you destroying your G27 shifter for nothing.
