I was wondering if anyone having experience with these wheels could just give me a bit of insight on them. My DFGT just died on me and I'd been considering a new wheel for a while now, not sure which way to go.
I'll primarily be using it for GT6, though if I get the CSR I'll finally pick up a copy of Forza 4. I play a bit of LFS from time to time but don't really have the space in my room currently to set up a wheel for my PC.
The DFGT is the only wheel I have any experience with, barring a couple old non ffb models. I had no complaints with it other than maybe the noise, but I'm aware that either of these models should be a considerable step up in terms of feel. I know the T500 is THE wheel to have, but the price after adding the shifter onto it is just a bit more than I want to let go of currently between this and my other hobbies.
The CSR interests me because I've never had a 360 compatible wheel and that CSS SQ shifter looks amazing. The load cell pedals also sound great, theoretically a bit nicer than the progressive spring available for the G27. Only thing that bothers me about the CSR, and most of Fanatec's wheels, is that it isn't round. I do a fair amount of drifting and I'm not sure how much of an issue it would present. There's also the fact that I keep hearing about motor failures...
But yeah, I'd be very appreciative of some insight on the general feel, characteristics, etc of these wheels in comparison to one another and as a step up from the DFGT.
