Besides who would call that N-Ireland? That would be a first I think.

Interesting to know about the Spanish abbreviation though. I don't know a word Spanish so I would never have known. Since this is an English forum though and we don't write comments in Spanish here, as that is against the rules, we can just stick to the fact that EU stands for European Union.
