Full cust tranny. Takes a bit of time to change from 3->4 & 4->5... I've tried moving gearing to either direction n still doesnt solve it. Any idea how to make it swap with appropriate timing.

Running on AUTO so I know the obvious answer is go manual. Any other ideas?

If you are referring to what I think you are referring to, switching to manual is the only real way to fix it. The 'Cuda revs to 7 grand but doesn't make any power past 6, so it would take quite a while for the car to leave to powerband but get into the RPM where the automatic is set to shift.

If that isn't what you are referring to, disregard.

Are you meaning that you're sitting there on one gear, waiting too long for it to change up in auto mode? If so why are you using auto... just use manual.

When I first read it, I thought you might be talking about shift times, I now doubt it but if that's what you are referring to then change the clutch...

Edit: just saw you're using auto, sorry still half asleep. That's a shame. Just use manual.

maybe the tranny trick helps you out.

set the tranny to standard settings, then:
set final drive ratio to max
then auto settings to max then back to minimum setting
then alter the final drive to the top speed you want to have.

the tranny trick usually makes the first gears longer and put the higher gears closer together. this can help if the higher gears are pretty long
on some cars it can really improve the time they need to shift to another gear.
also install a twin plate clutch, a light flywheel and carbon driveshaft.

you can also lower the top speed a bit to put all gears closer together, improving shift times.

if that doesnt help, try to use manual shifting and shift up earlier like Toronado mentioned.

Some cars do seem to take longer to shift "through the gate" than others, I remember the Peugeot 905 race car in GT4 seemed to take ages to shift the level from one gear to another. Will get in my 'cuda and see if it does take its time.
