The cars aren't over the curb, or bouncing, but the curb is the focal point with the bright red/white, slowly drawing you towards the cars.

Maybe a rain line? The few times i raced with rain on this game, i felt like the normal line was always more slippery, like in real life. Anyone else? Or am i just dreaming?
