I have been trying to figure this out for a bit now.
I bought a Toyota Supra and have done nothing but the Like the wind, route x race in it.
The odometer reads 451 miles. but when I got to the GT Auto it says that the cars current mileage is 282.
Anyone know why this is?

The Odometer is in kilometer. :p. Not Miles.

ODO is in KM

You didn't check the CarFax. :)

Joking mate, but it seems that you aren't the only one. Some people have reported mileage being added randomly or not being added at all, especially with single player modes. As of now its probably a bug.

If you read @iCyCo and I replies :p.

Ah yeah just saw that, but I remember there was a thread about someone using his car in singleplayer and mileage would sometimes be added and sometimes it wasn't.

oh well that seems like a bug.

I think there's no option to change what the Odo Reads. If your running Metric System, You wouldn't have a issue.

Hey metric is great. All my tools are metric. Standard tools suck! But Miles and MPH are what I relate to its what most americans relate to.
Now I could understand if the odo in the cockpit view of a premium car was in Kilometers because that car was for a foreign market, but on bumper cam it should read what you have it set to in the games options.

Well, I can't seem to get platinum trophy to click because of the Autobarmy trophy.

Then do the Autobahn trophy.

I'm stuck - and have been for a week - at 7,456.11 km. Stuck. Glitched. Ran a 4 lap race, saved, came back to check stats and it still said 7,456.11 km.

No platinum until it gets fixed so I can get that trophy.

Sad failure... Lol ;)

I have not saw any issues there, currently over 11,000 miles driven

As for the KM/Miles thing on the ODO I would expect that some of the cars would register in KM and other in Miles depending on the origin of the car, For example is it a car from Japan?, right hand drive? I would not be surprised to see a reading in KM. If on the other hand it was a left hand drive Mustang I would expect to see it in Miles

This.

Do they make Mustangs in Canada ?

I don't have platinum, may or may not ever have it, don't really care ;)

Naaah, the platinum thing is me and nas having fun.

And, yes, Mustangs are actually available in Canada - with Canadian conversions from the factory, despite being made in Michigan.

Canadian laws require that they use km. in odometers as well. Steering wheel position =/= odometer readings.

Canadians drive on the left side of the car, right?

Ah ok. Back on the game side of things,
If it's not by nationality of car, It should be by your unit your using.

Still got another 5,262km to go. It's 7 thousand odd miles, or 12,718 km ;)

Yes, but as I'm explaining, it has no bearing on the odometer, which side of the car the steering wheel is on. :)

Yep, of course the Left hand drive Mustang was meant to imply US version
