I'm a bit of the initiator of the CurryVWurst Lobby
About the history of the lobby:
It all started with a small group that wanted to drive cleanly and with respect.
We started with 450 pp and 140kw 990 kg. The rules were always agreed in the community to get as many cars as possible into the lobby.
It continued through many updates and vehicle adjustments, the conditions of the lobbies had to be adjusted again and again.
480pp; 140kw/520pp 150kw/540pp; 180KW/ 560KW; 200kw/570pp; 200KW
We tried to get a large number of vehicles into the lobbies to have a change.
The history of the name:
CurryVWurst Lobby : because I am an employee of a large automotive company and there is a separate hall with sausage production in addition to cars. And the currywurst ketchup is made according to a secret recipe.
The VW currywurst is available every day in our company restaurants. It even has its own part number.
In 2023, over 8 million curry sausages were sold.
You can also find currywurst stickers in GT7.

Thanks again to all visitors of the CurryVWurst Lobby, without you none of this would be possible.

If you copy and host the lobby, you should always make sure that it is driven fairly and with respect.
Hi all! I remember the early 450pp days. A nice change from the Japanese 450pp CS rooms I would run that didn't have a power or weight restriction. Background: Been a GT player since GT2 and a wheel user since GT4, with Logitech Driving Force from 2001 . Try out a wheel if you can, changes the game - just like finding great folks to race with!

We had our special event on Saturday and Sunday at the weekend. Was well attended.
There was some discussion as to whether the Chervolet's also belong to the musclecars. But they let her ride along.
It's not always easy to tune a set of rules well.
Hope everyone had fun and I would like to thank all participants.
A next special event could only be TCR cars (still in tuning).
And of course there will be another event for the birthday of the VW Sambabus (available for purchase right now)

The muscles are the most wobbly cars ever driven 😂

At the weekend the wish arose that we do a special event. American muscle cars are needed. The conditions are as follows:
at least 1250 KG (2755 pounds), 200kw (271hp), 570 PP
Year of construction 1958-1979
The events will take place on 21 June. and June 22 in the CurryVWurst lobbies
The Shelby Cobra ́66 is also possible, TransAM; Mustang Mach1 ....
I did a couple of quick builds for this on Saturday morning, but when I entered the lobby the power limit was much higher than 200kw. I couldn't keep up, even after trying to adjust my setups to try and compete.
Was it possible to get anywhere near the both the weight and power limits under 570PP, or was it a compromise situation?

I also found 570pp with 341bhp and 1250kg bop

The weekend special at the CurryVWurst Club will be a competition based on a TCR race. Only 6 cars with FF are allowed.
TCR (Touring Car Racing)

570PP ; 250 KW (340 hp) , 1250 kg

Honda Civic (FK2) Type R 2016
Peugeot RCZ 2015
Renault Megane RS Trophy 2011
Volkswagen Golf VII GTI 2014
Volvo V40 T5 R-Design 2013
Ford Focus ST 2015

On Saturday we will start at the Nürburg Ring and on Sunday we will visit different tracks around the world.
I hope this time there will be no changes in the race control (aellobo). LOL

I just built a RCZ, every engine upgrade (excluding Ultimate upgrades) gets me to 249kw. Pretty much maxed on everything else, except brakes, Sports rather than Racing.

When i race TCR and ysing civic i use racing gearbox so i m 1285 kg. Is that correct :D?
Normally, that's true, but unfortunately, it's impossible to control. Therefore, everyone has a minimum weight of 1250 kg.
Thanks again to everyone who attended this event this weekend

Hi guys,
I think it's time to introduce myself as I jump into your lobbies from time to time for a couple of weeks now as I love the Nord, even if it doesn't respond this love most of the time 😅

You'll find me under "Mieze" resp. "Mieze-Muc" in your lobby, regularly in one of these cars...

See you on track 😸

Hi Nick,
I miss the GBRC races as well as the guys, too. I still didn't quit not to close the door.
But short practice units followed by short events or this one (where you know your cars on the Nord and just can jump in and out) while still have clean racing (most of the time) fits perfect to my current situation and is the only way on the moment.

Looking forward to share the Nord with you 😁

Martin

P. S.
Greetings to the Grumpy Guys 😘

I've received several messages saying that some players can't enter the lobbies. It always times out. This has been happening since Sony's system update. Is anyone else having these issues?

My PS5 updated (on Friday I think). Been in a few lobbies since. Had the odd time-out when trying to join lobbies, but no more than before.
