today is a special day for all wursters 😉

Mmmmmm, you're making me hungry!
We have an authentic Bavarian bar near us, that serves great German beers and food. Unfortunately a Stein is £15.60(€18) and Currywurst with fries is £18.90(€21.75) 😡

There will soon be a special event with the Volkswagen Golf GTI ́83.
With replacement engine R5-20vT-Quatro-Pikes.
Date is still open, so prepare your Golf GTI ́83.
It will be a trip around the world with different routes. Fastest in practice has pole position.
The following settings are predefined:
  • 655 pp
  • Min Weight 900 kg / 1984.16 lbs
  • Max 300 kw / 407 hp
  • Tires will be race soft

Maybe we'll try it on Oct 4th

See you in the CurryVWurst Lobby

400hp through the front wheels of a short wheelbase car? Standing starts should be fun! Is that the reason for the RS Tyres?!?

For those that enjoy the Weekly Challenges, this week there is a Nissan GT-R ‘Special Event’, 1 Lap round the Nordschleife. The R34’s we built to 700PP on RM tyres, when the Z-Tune was introduced a couple of months ago, are the perfect weapon for this challenge. You need to run around 6:48 for the win on ‘Hard’ difficulty, but it’s a good race!
Edit: There isn’t a PP limit for the race, so you could go way over 700PP if you wished, but it would be an easy win, and where’s the fun in that?!?

Klingt gut

But if there's no rain, we'll have to postpone 😉

Since there are always inquiries whether you can open a CurryVWurst lobby.
Of course you can, especially if another lobby is full with 16 riders.
Some rules as a host should be observed.

- it's best to copy a finished lobby (then the settings are always the same, e.g. fuel consumption, tire wear, etc.)

- The starting line-up should be made by the host (in Worldtour you can also make fastest first)

- Starting grid for the next race, if you put the podium places at the back, the field will be well mixed. Maybe even put one or the other rider in the middle of the field again if he doesn't manage to get to the podium, which he doesn't always have to start from the front.

570 pp , 269hp/200KW , 1130kg

Have fun hosting

Dependent on work I would love to come! I’ve not been to the Ring yet!

If it’s helpful, yesterday on the host migration lobby, when I became host my car started glitching badly and the race didn’t start. I quit but the room still seemed to have problems afterwards.

We have to test days soon. But so far only the lobbies that are opened by Geenmoon (this is an older saved lobby) are working.
Here, the host can be inherited.
Why this is only possible there is a big question mark.
But we'll keep at it.
Here is the link, maybe someone has a solution

we don't figure it out, how the "migration lobby" works.
we dont set the settings in that lobby.
its from a (german) player, which i randomly found online. the settings in his migration lobby are slightly different from our original CurryVWurst.
we are in contact with him, to reproduce/understand the lobby settings from him.
we copied/tried different settings from him, but nothing works like "HIS" lobby.

the "migration lobby" works only, when HE started the Wurst.

hello everybody,

for the meetup in august 7.-9. August 2026

if you are interested, please contact me via PM

i will open a groupchat (in whatsapp) for further details

The popularity is great to see but increasingly there are drivers who I know I have to be careful around as they are a bit reckless.

Please remember it is fun and fair, and winning isn’t everything. Trying to pass at a high speed kink or having a late dive isn’t the way to go!

Our German friends here have a euphemism that quite aptly describes these individuals who "drive with the knife between their teeth".
The best thing to do is adopt a defensive driving style in those moments, make sure you cover any gaps on the inside, leaving the outside line as their only option. Most tend to baulk at taking on such a risky manoeuvre, when if it goes wrong, they are more likely to come off worse.

JJooo Mann,thats true

Since I get several inquiries if the 570pp 200kw lobby still exists, I can reassure you. It will continue to exist.
We have opened a 595pp 230 KW 1300kg lobby to be able to use cars that cannot be throttled to 230 kw. So far, the new lobby has been very well received, with the new cars available

Both lobbies are partially open in parallel.
But on Thursday, December 4th, the new update Spec III will be released, so the driving physics will probably be changed again.
Therefore, it may be possible that the lobbies may have to be adjusted a bit. Let's wait and see

I've joined the '595' lobbies a couple of times, but so far I still prefer '570'. This is probably because it takes me quite a while to tune and optimise vehicles, so making cars competitive takes time, something I currently I don't have a lot of spare.
Also, many of the cars I've built for 570 can't easily be retuned to 595, as the weight difference of 170kg means I can't add enough ballast to use them, requiring new cars to be purchased, which is a shame.

I have been trying to develop a similar standard (Codename: SpicySausage 😁) in order to competitively race 'Supercars', such as Ferraris, Lambo's, Astons, Porsches, McLarens, RUFs etc, along with other high end models from mainstream manufacturers, Ford GTs, Audi R8s, Honda NSXs etc, at close to their stock specs, using only ballast and power restriction to even them out. I'm currently testing at 665PP, 1350kg minimum weight and SS tyres, but an unrestricted power limit, as weight and power vary quite a lot.
I know from experience racing in 650PP Ring lobbies, and others, that this wouldn't work well for an 'Open' category, as some 'regular' cars can be, tuned to such an extent they they thrash 'Supercars', but it could be fun for a limited selection of high-value vehicles.
Early days in terms of testing, but it might make a fun 'CurryVWurst Special-Event' some time in the future...

I'll be interested to see what the "Improvements to online races" listed in the Spec III press release will include.
I'm hoping for perhaps some additional tools for equalising performance, such as a Power-to-weight Ratio limit option, and/or weight and power range options rather than just limits. Only 1 more day to wait!
