I assume the "traditional" feminine role is being submissive sexual slave? In the kitchen, barefoot and pregnant?
What conservative wet dream are made of. But Barefoot is referring to what exactly?

Sounds like the Taliban, tbh. Or is that the point?
It's a very, very common phrase and has been for over a century - on both sides of the Atlantic - and often includes "in the kitchen" at the end of it.

And yes, it's literally meaning that a woman's role is subservient to her husband. "Traditional" marriage, "traditional" values - and for a group of people currently insisting that abortions should be illegal and the population should be a trillion so we don't lose potential Einsteins, they're somewhat ignorant of the fact that sequestering 50% of the population and preventing them from fulfilling their potential means they're losing potential Curies.

We (humans) will find a way to feed the increasing population. It's always possible. But population control is both a difficult thing and also not the best thing. The highly educated don't reproduce as often as the poor. Breeding for genetic traits must be done better.

Wait.

822M is statistically significant, but not really something to care about, it's just a number. Meaningless.

TB
You should definitely be in charge of who gets to procreate and who can't.
All I want for christmas is for you to agree. If only for the fact that someone in charge is better for a sense of direction, than nobody at all. We can thank hitler for giving us a great history to remember (and a grave to dig up) that eugenics didn't work out last time, but there's always next time.

Why must we thank hitler? Good things don't make us reflect. It is only the fear that drives man forward. Necessity mother of invention.

We will get another hitler if we don't get another covid. Which comes first depends on what humans will tolerate. History WILL repeat itself. Story as old as time. Foolish to think otherwise.

You'd be surprised to know you don't actually care about all the people you think you do. Certainly not strangers, Mikey. Your family and relatives are probably the most you have the capacity to care about when you break it down. Not random strangers. Priorities...check them.

Citation required. Right wingers care about their in-group more than an outgroup of general humanity. Others realise that we're all connected. Please don't project.
"Others realise" Strangers? Be honest now. Real talk. People don't trust strangers like they would family. You wouldn't let your underage daughter ride in a strangers car off some random street. Get real. End of story.

It's not. Trusting others and volunteering strangers to be thrown under the bus are very different things.

So when you see footage from say…. Ukraine or Gaza, you feel nothing? What about when a different area of your own state is affected by a natural disaster? Still nothing? What about when a co-worker dies? Still nothing?

Empathy, love and compassion do actually exist you know.

Not end of story. I trust my family more than a stranger, doesn’t mean I wouldn’t bat an eye lid if that stranger was hit by a truck.

Us vs Them is a cancer and it makes for a divided population. Working together and giving half a crap for others is the only way to improve the world.

Yes I'd feel sorry, but after a month am I still thinking about the dead coworker? Probably not, got a lot on my plate. Feelings come and go.

Not the majority in the western world. Strangers are strangers. Walk in NYC and then walk in Florida. You'll learn something. Better yet do that in reverse order.

Bystander effect is real. Why do people love to ignore these things ? LOook up any liveleak footage. Go on a video watching spree. It's evident clear as day. TRuck drivers don't give a crap. Nobody in or around a big city does. No craps left to give. Tiny Cosy Country towns however are an entirely different ordeal

Not many think like you, keep up the good work. Seriously. It's nice to bump into a non-racist once in a while.

This guy watched the security cameras for me and concluded that the more people are around at the time of an accident, the more likely it is that someone will step in and help. We're not all sociopaths.

human life is just a meaningless statistic.
Explain this then. Reddit. People on there care more about cats and dogs then their fellow human. Reddit is far from right-wing. Doesn't set a good precident where a whole 52 million website of tech savvy people can all only agree to only upvote pictures of animals to feel some kind of emotional connection to humanity.

Um, what? Do you have any statistics or research show that all 52m users of that website care more about their pets or is it just your anecdotal observation?

Observation. Cat pictures/videos and porn rules the internet. Everyone knows this. Every website has to ban the porn.

Just because I have zero desire to let my daughter ride in your vehicle doesn't mean that I'm alright with you starving to death.

Once again, you're moving the goalposts.

Didn't think so.
You knew but asked anyways. Why bother if you're concerned about finding the truth? Says more about your animalistic need and supply for entertainment than it does about my need for truth.

Quit with the bad faith "everyone who disagrees with me is a liar" arguments and provide some hard figures to back up your unsubstantiated claims.

It's one thing to say that. But never trust a random person on their word. watch their actions. Doubtful that you keep your word 100% of your life. Nobody does. Certainly not you. You've likely got far too many skeletons in the closet to be trustworthy, to a stranger no less. Cut the crap

Friends, co-workers, team mates and acquaintances can be remembered for years, decades after passing away. Just because there is no blood relation doesn’t mean you can’t care for them in a significant way. Glad to hear you have feelings though!

I have walked around NYC. Not Florida, but 6 different major US cities, a couple in Canada and most of Australia’s too. I grew up in a rural area and have been to plenty in all 3 countries. I have seen enough of the western world to know that places and people do vary greatly.

Architecture, living conditions, socio-economics and demographics are all very unique. Much more so than I ever realised and it’s what makes travel such a great experience. I have many more places to go and look forward to showing my kids the world.

One thing that all the places I’ve been share, is people tend to want to do the right thing for the greater population. Normal people do care about others and most will step in to help a stranger. Selfish, crass people are not the majority.

Thinking they are is a myth that comes from people that don’t venture outside their circle enough. The world isn’t as 🤬 a place as people like to think it is, and folks are no more selfish now than they were 50, 100, 500, 1000 or 50,000 years ago.

Liking animal pictures doesn’t mean people like animals more than humans. It means they enjoy looking at pictures of animals on the internet. Nothing more, nothing less.

Shocking to hear that people like to look at naked people. Almost like they’re attracted to them through their biology or something. I wonder if there is any other feelings, such as empathy, which may exist for a biological reason?

This thread of low quality twitter memes shouldn't exist then. Not the sharpest tool in the shed...? If you're so concerned with truth.. you wouldn't waste time entertaining yourself with crap here. You're lying to yourself. Again. Wheres the "substiantiated claims thread" that you should be following then? Didn't think so. Faulty logic all round. Your need for entertainment and amusement is greater than your need for truth. Animalistic traits are strong with you.
