Cursor Freezes?

Alright so sometimes when I'm in seasonal events I click on the pack I want to go to and it makes the sound but doesn't go to the thing I clicked on. Now I can't move the cursor, click on it again or try to go back. The only way I've solved this is to press the PS button, Quit Game and then go back into it but that takes too long. This happens occasionally and gets annoying. Is there a way to solve it? My game is only about 6 months old and completely scratch-free. Thanks.
 
Did you give it some time to load? Sometimes that would solve it when I select something but it doesn't actually go to it.

Is 5 minutes enough time? Because I waited for 5 and then just though it wasn't going to load.

Huh. It would last only a couple of seconds. Did it had the "Loading" clock? And also to that, you could clear your cache. See if that will help.
 
There's a lot of reason for the slow response or stuck cursor. You might want to check and make sure your GT5 disc has no scratches or fingerprints. It might also be an indication of failing BR player/lens or HDD. If you have a lot of games/data install on the PS3 HDD, you might want to check how much space is left on the HDD.

For example, I haven't had much problem even after the latest patch (which supposedly is the cause for a lot of problem) but my PS3 is less than 6 months old and the only game/data installed is that of GT5.
 
I have the same problem it takes 5-10 min it really depends,if things are going on more than once like friends are coming on and offline stuff like that it kind of stalls I normally just click the ps button all the way then go off and it goes on
 
Mine sometimes freezes when trying to load my garage whilst playing online, but i think it's maybe down to me having 973 cars :/
 
Mine does this if i have bad internet at the time. PS button and sign out of psn then sign back in again and try again. Or just have patience :)
