Sorry if this has been posted ( using PS3, search don't work ) before. This could be similar in principle to the livery editor, the difference would be is you could choose different materials, colours & shape design of the interior/dashboard etc. Also could place gauges in different places.Hey some cars have built in tv screens, so pressing a button in the pause menu could take you to the GT website, YT, weather station, here or could play mini games, choose your own music using the car style screen menu etc.Obviously not all cars have tv screens, so a set of default links could be there.Would this catch on ?.

Well because i will be using cockpit all the time i would like as much customization in the cockpit as possible, choosing the colour of your cloth would be nice.

A bit more in-depth than Dirt 2 Stonemonkey.A fake rhino leg hanging out the side of a pickup truck.

With 1000 different interiors I don't really care about customizing it but it would be a really nice detail. I wouldn't hope for it though I can't imagine PD has time for such unimportant things right now :P

I dont think Interior customisation would go far beyond Rollcage, Sports/Race seats, Dials and racing steering wheels and gearshifts.

I think that too, but I also hope that they give us an interior color choice when you buy the car, instead of what the exterior color is.

I think interior customization would be great, if I could change the steering wheel, interior colour, and gauges.

If we had about 20 options for gauges and steering wheels I think it would be enough, the only reason I'm un-sure of this being in the game is because of the 1000 or so interiors PD have made for each car.

I don't know about you guys, but this is one of the few things I liked about shift even though you had few options.. the fact that you have tuned a car to race specs, and customized the extirior (to the limit) then you still have the stock interior just wouldn't feel right to me if I'm trying to make a race/tuned car.

I'm not so concerned about customisation beyond being able to choose the colour of your interior at time of purchase. I presume this will be in there as Prologue already has different interiors colours.

What I really want is that the interior gets stripped out as you do weight reduction. It would irritate me if you've done a "Stage Three Weight Reduction" on a car, and are then presented with a full leather interior, stereo, satnav and aircon controls when you get in the cockpit.

I'd like this feature very much but only if they were to use real parts from Momo and other brands like that. I wouldn't mind if they used random names for customization but using real life products would add to the realism. Also if PD had a complete full licence to every car perhaps they could include options from the dealer as well. For example different stereos etc.

I would really like a personalized interior, but I think an exterior livery editor is more important. It gives the car more of a unique personalized view than a customizable interior.

But, the in car view should change if you get weight reduction. seats have to be replaced, stuff has to be moved out of the interior. So maybe we will have customizable interiors in choosing individually which components to shed for weight reduction and such.

I want all my cars white with white leather interiors! :O

I think the thinking from GT will be... "You want a different interior, go buy another car, we have 950+ of them."

Though I think regular color choice will be available on some cars.

It would be nice to have gauges in the interior view. Other than that I would like to see steering wheels (which is purely cosmetic) so we can take pictures of it.

I saw some recaros and takata harness on prologue so hopefully that's an option for customization as well

Having a choice between LHD & RHD would be the only thing I'd really like to see. I used cockpit view in Prologue and in the GT5 demo and sometimes I get thrown off a bit when I switch from a LHD car to a RHD.

So long as I can change my interior colour TDU style, I'm happy.

A black DB9 with a white interior is nowhere near as satisfying as tan leather.

I mod my cars interior in reel life to.I would like to have this freedom in gt as well.It makes me feel more home in it.I sit the most time inside the car and not watching it in the garage.

I hope there is some way to customise interiors, also weight reduction should have effect on interior and exterior too, like carbon panels on the cars and the option to paint them or not.

Since all the GT games I've played have allowed for car customisation I think i'd be pretty silly if the mods weren't represented visually. Put in a roll cage, and I expect to see a roll cage. Weight saving... no back seats, no stereo and bucket seats thankyou. Maybe the steering wheel would change. If you add a turbo is it unfair to want to see a boost gauge? If PD are taking us to the next level of realism, then turning my road car into a racer means oil and water temp gauges are a must.

As much as I like more stuff, this level of interior customization is unreasonable to expect from the game. Remember that they have to actually model cockpits to each car already. That in itself is quite an achievement.

Be happy if most of the important gauges are working in the cockpit.
