Custom livery in championships?!

Last season I see drivers with custom livery however I thought you drove the loan car which can’t be customised?

Iirc the Nation's Cup allows you to drive any car you have and custom liveries are allowed. The Manufacturers Cup forces you to use only the car the manufacturer loaned you which cannot be customised.

You've been able to apply liveries to loan cars since v1.06.

Ah that explains it. I haven't tried the FIA since season 3 or 4 I guess.

Just change into your hire car, go into Home and use the Change Livery button to apply an existing livery for that model, or if you want to make a new one, you can now pick the hire car in the Livery Designer.

In the daily races too ? I usually enter the race, do some Q laps before, so when I'm in qualifying mode I can go to my garage, right ?

No, it doesn't work for the daily, since you only get that car for the duration of the race (it's never in your garage).

Receive loan car, get into loan car, go to livery editor to make livery for loan car.

It's pretty much the default thing anyone would do first when trying how to figure out how this feature works.

Haven't taken part in the FIA races so far, didn't know you get the loan car into your garage. Thanks anyway 👍.

You can't if it's a specially provided car, but you can if it specifies that it's from your garage.
