Custom Music - Not working after editing my playlist.

I have set up a custom playlist, with around 40 songs on it. (By the way, this is a great addition to the series)

I edited it today to about 100 songs, and now when I select the playlist, in game there is no music, and even more strangely, I cannot pause the game properly. Pressing start pauses and unpauses, but there is no menu to restart or quit - thus I have to reset the game to exit.

I wandered if it were due to different formats of mp3 or song file, but I checked and they are all the same. I then tried a playlist with just 5 of the original songs, and now even that didn't work.

When going back to the original music in GT5, everything runs fine.

Has anyone had this trouble before? And if so, how can I fix it?

Another thing,

When I pause the game, no one screen displays show at all. Also even when I am playing, there is no rev counter at the bottom.

Also, there is no 3,2,1 countdown and the "Go" sound at the beginning of a race either...

What's going on?
