Custom music will not play

My custom music is selected as the race game music, but will not play when racing. Anyone else have this issue, or had it and then resolved the problem?

I haven't had it not play at all, but I've had it play and then stop and revert to the original game music mid-race (during the A-spec 9h Tsukuba enduro many moons ago before mid-race saves update), but since then I've taken to turning the music in the game off and piping music in from my computer.

A long time ago custom music contributed to a glitch or two, and was never really determined to be fix or not. Your best bet is to disable it.

Besides, you can't overtake while headbanging to Bohemian Rhapsody.

Have you tried making a playlist dedicated to GT5, and adding the songs you wish to play onto that playlist?

Also, the game will stop playing the music from that playlist once every song has been played once. To prevent this, all you have to do is change the settings so that the playlist is repeated.

I usually have all my music in a playlist dedicated to GT5, and have it set so the music is randomly shuffled and the playlist is repeated. I've never encountered a single problem doing this.

The music keeps resetting to the default music in the menus for me. It's never happened this frequently before. It was "glitchy" for me in the beginning of GT5's lifespan and now it reverts back to the game's music a lot of the time when I'm playing GT5. It always happens when I start up GT5.
