Custom Soundtracks - Confirmed?!

I got an email from Game Stop today containing a new advertisement for GT5 Prologue. It seems to mention the inclusion of custom soundtracks in addition to the regular soundtrack with the exclusive Weezer song. The custom soundtrack feature is something I've been hoping PD would finally include, since I had PGR2 on the original XBOX. I'd really like to play my own music off the hard drive while playing GT5 Prologue, especially when doing races repeatedly to earn credits, etc. This is the first mention of custom soundtracks I've personally seen. Anyone else heard anything about this?

I'd bet that 'custom soundtrack' just refers to the extra songs in the US version. I hope we get real custom soundtracks, but it's unlikely.
 
man i really do hope that function is put into the game later on...hate playing the game with my ipod playing my own songs when i drive...
 
I turn music off when I drive.
Only for replays. I think PD does great job in many song titles they choose.
But I think SONY mentioned putting song selection with last few PS3 system updates. So it will be possible. So far only few games do that. Once you start a game up, you can accest the XMB, see friends lists, and Music. and other sutff.
 
I too turn music off when I drive. At least when I'm focused on racing. I'm hoping they will eventually include the ability to play playlists from the PS3 hard drive, while driving in Gt5p, for those times where I'm less focused on racing (like when I enter the same race over and over again, while earning and saving credits). I also heard about the in game XMB, etc. I was not aware that they had all that up and running. Anyway, we'll soon see if it comes to Prologue. Thanks for the info fellas.
