Is there any way i could... Purchase a cheap wheel, and then use my own steering wheel, but move all the guts to it? What would be the wheel you would use if you could do that? I have this vision of buying a wheel from the MP4-25 (Its about $1k on McLaren's website... Yes, i have that kind of money) and hooking up all the buttons somehow, to make a massively entertaining conversation piece, as well as an unneeded 2nd wheel. But could it be done with just a basic Sparco wheel? Or one from any car (Airbag removed, and place to put buttons)

I'm sure you can find something to suit your needs somewhere online. Frex makes a standard and quick-release adapter for a DFP. Might work for a DFGT. The wheels they show being used are from Momo and Sparco, so who knows.

I'd say your best bet it to buy a Frex wheel, then spend a lot of time (Or pay someone to) make the mounting holes line up, then place it in a cockpit and you're set! As for buying a steering wheel and putting it onto a cheap wheel, the only easy conversion wheel I've heard of is the G27 and G25, as used in Chillicoke's adapter. Other wheels I'd say would simply be too difficult.
