Custom wheels on Standard

So do you guys think custom wheels will ever be allowed on standard cars? Like with a patch maybe? Pretty sad that they excluded that from the game.

I really hope so, i mean, if the standard cars are just GT4 cars ported across, surely they can just port across the GT4 wheel shop? (putting "used wheels" from 1 premium onto another would be amazing too!)

But...i doubt it, however with this recent DLC announcement, something is coming. Probably just a new cars. Id quite like a patch that is free to download and turns a few dozen standard cars into premiums (things like the veyron and FGT etc)

I hope not, I hope they focus on other things first instead. I understand the love for some of the cars that sadly are standard. But I rather just wait for them to become Premium.

Sometimes you really have to wonder what PD actually did this whole time in development? Dont get me wrong, I apreciate the game and love it, but for the time spent making it makes me wonder.

I agree, they always seem to come up short and half ass something that may seem like something small but it presents a big problem sometimes.

Would be great, but I doubt a feature like that would come in a patch...we'll wait for GT6! And anyway, I'd much rather PD smarten up the AI more than allow rims on standards.

Im a big supporter of this. My heart belongs to the standard cars in this game. Id love my supra so much more if it didnt have the ugly oem rims. same goes for 200 other cars

Why does it matter that why can decorate premiums and not standards? I don't give a **** that I can't see them, it's the satisfaction of knowing they are there and showing them off online. You should be able to do both types of cars and not one or the other, /thread.

Because its weird to have a 700hp Supra in stock wheels... just an example.

I'd rather see a generic cockpit view for standard before anything else. I just can't drive them any more.

I would like it, but honestly I dont think they will.
Standards look like they were just a stop gap measure and they wont spend any time on improving that area... if anything a VERY select few will get the premo treatment and thats it.

I would like to change wheels on standards as I like my car to look good, what's the problem with that? I like to take photos of my cars and I would rather have a nice set of wheels thanks.

Theres one problem though, wheels are highly detailed, where as standards aren't, so a set of highly detailed wheels are going to look strange on standards are they not?

My thoughts exactly. I would be far more inclined to take more frequent pictures of my standards if aftermarket wheels were introduced. However, whilst playing GT4 I always thought that the wheels let the overall appearance of the car down. I'm sure PD could produce wheels for standards but they wouldn't improve the overall appearance of the car that much in my opinion.

Yup to truly please the fans and the community, EVERY car needs to be upgraded to premium.
