Morning Routine

Funny enough, with all of the functionality I've lost for one reason or another (read: mods ) I've gotten back...through mods. Because you can't use in-game photomode's rule of thirds graph with IGCS active, I had to grab one for reshade and with it also comes aspect ratios, which means I get back to cinematic and moody compositions.

Couldn't I have done that before in post? Absolutely, but now I can shoot with it in mind and not hack away bits of the shot after the fact.

I love everything about these two shots. The lighting and framing are excellent. His expression is perfect. 👍

Definitely an improvement here. Personally I wouldn't cut off parts of the feet, but that's just my opinion. ;) These are great shots, I especially like the second one. Very cinematic.

Good to know that about IGCS. I need to start using that.:P:lol: I've been using ReShade as a LUT basically. 🤣

Cutting off the feet in the second one is more to not show the horrible clipping.

Also why I angled the last shot to cut the very tip of her right sneaker off despite being a different pose from that same pack.

These are more representative of her devilish side than anything. At least I don't really see her carrying out assassinations and such around Night City while walking around as a literal cyber devil, but I'm keeping my options open. The citizens of Night City have seen some weird stuff. 🤣

There is one person I want her to meet in the future, and he would not approve of a literal cyber devil, so there is that.

I might have some fun with this in the future with her shadow or reflection.

Devil in the Water, easily. Such an amazing shot. I had an idea in a similar-ish headspace but won't do it until I properly learn IGCS and Cyberlit. I have to read the info pages and be done with it already.

Both of these shots are really nice. 👍

Thanks, Devil in the Water is the one I spent the most time on, not because of the reflection, but the horrible banding in the sky that used to be there. I painted over it and had to pixel peep around the hair and under the arms, etc. The reflection was relatively easy to do with a lasso to delete the selected part. There is still some banding in the water, but it kinda makes it look oily and I think it fits.

The bugged shadow in the last one bugs me, but I didn't feel like spending several hours clone stamping it.

I totally get it. The amount of times I've had to lasso and use content-aware fill because hair is clipping or there's some obscenely ugly stretch mark or whatever it is and then clean it up with clone stamping if I'm especially picky...is entirely too high.
