Too be honest i don't think Monaco is that tight , so you can get away with it. Although Nurburgring don't no :/

Nurb really isn't a hard track, yes its confusing if you haven't ran it repeatedly but the bends are pimps and all you need is a little patience. Heck, Monaco has harder corners.

I can cope with both but i find Nurb corners a bit more tricky than Monaco's. I think test it first before we can say about it.

Slightly off but for the next season if there will be one? Maybe go old school BTCC that means having Audi , Nissan , Seat , Vauxhall , Alfa , Renault , Volvo , Peugeot , Honda and BMW.
Maybe include VW Bora. It would be awhile away but it would be good. But let's just get through this one first.

the issue with nurb as far as i see it isn't that the corners are any harder than anywhere else, it's that if someone gets a bit ambitious into the first corner and makes heavy contact with you, you then have almost 10 minutes of wobbling around the track to do before you can get back to the pits. it doesn't even have to be anyone driving badly, you could get a bit of lag that causes two cars to bump into each other, and cause both drivers to have their race ruined. I'd say definately have light damage, and if you want an added incentive to promote clean driving maybe add penalties for nurb only, just an idea:idea:

I have to say it wasn't me who came up with the lack of heavy damage. Nurburgring however does need penalties rather than heavy damage. Monaco im easy, I can get round without crashing but some people cant!

Okay then leave the heavy damage on Monaco and light damage on Nurb.

I've always felt that the essence of the nürb, is that if you make one mistake, that's it. I feel that light damage could ruin the immense pressure of the track, and the authenticity of the series :s.

People have taken this heavy damage thing completely the wrong way, it's not because YOU might crash, it's because other people might crash into you...

Well then it makes everyone else drive more careful and not with road rage, yet still trying to drive competitively. Mistakes will happen, but that's just life, I'm sure next race you wont have the same luck. And if there are drivers who are continuously just hitting people when they can be avoided, well, imo they should be penalised and even disqualified/suspended from the series.

im open to heavy damage although I do agree it's more the issue of people hitting each other than hitting the walls.

As the organiser I will be also acting as a steward so if anyone has an issue with another driver let me know and I will watch the replays and cast judgement.

Penalties will include disqualification, starting from back of the grid and in extreme cases banning from the series.

How much power limited is acceptable?

How much power limited is acceptable?

The less the better due to the powerband glitch

Any lobby up??
If not join mine. :)

will do soon, just testing my Corvette for a Le Mans race

What time will the room be open till, roughly? I'm desperate to get in one but seem to keep missing everyone! Haha.

Pre Season will be next monday right??

One thing I want to ask...
Will there be MX 5's on the grid??
Because since we are 16 instead of 32, there are more cars availiable, and we don't need the little Mazda's. I only say this because since the begining i thought that those cars didn't bellong to a BTCC race.

i see what you mean, mx5's aren't strictly touring cars, but i think it'd be pretty harsh on the guys who've spent the last month or so perfecting their setups if we suddenly say their not allowed with only a week until the pre-season test. maybe somethng to bear in mind for next season (if there is a next season). i personally don't have a problem with mx5's, they're a pretty good match for the other cars so i don't see a major issue.

Yeah you're right.
I would be mad to. :)

Looking forward to this starting :)

Has a final date been agreed yet?, I voted for Mondays as I'm free every Monday however this Monday (the 6th) I'm away with work so can't make it. It's a complete one off tho so :)

Ok, judging by the 1st page, I didn't make it into the list intime, although I see Rufus needs a team-mate? If this is still the case, I would be more than willing to join forces?

I still won't be able to make pre-season on the 6th though.....

well, I can now confirm that the 2nd driver for Mugen Honda will be jimy281090 :D can't wait to get this championship underway!

well i can't wait to start either. This will show some proper racing.

I won't be there for pre season testing as I'll be revising for an exam :( , but I've got the mx5 setup quite well so I'll be fine ;)

I'll possibly be free tommorrow night if you need space filler for PS3Dan101 or priesty_lFC.
Can run either Ford Focus ST or Mazda Atenza Sport. Both of those are set up reasonably for racing with the limits of the series outlined.

Have a BMW 330i on it so that Team Rufus (GTP_Bradders) want a team mate, if there is an opening for it?

Hello! I want to participate! BMW Team Rufus! But the time race will be? Thanks

Available from 9pm UK TIME (Monday) when will be a race? Should be a nice tournament ;-)
