think those were two of the most intense adrenaline fuelled races i've ever had, qualifying was a bit frustratng for me, despite posting my best ever time round trial mountain in the civic, Mole was still about half a secd quicker than me, so I wasn't holding out much hope for the race. Got my usual rubbish start in the first race (and the 2nd for that matter), but managed to pick off quite a few positions on the first lap and then ended up in a 3 way battle for the lead with mole and mcglone. managed to get to the front a couple of laps from the end, and held it until the end of the back straight on the final lap. I moved to the inside to try and block mole, but didn't move far enough and he managed to squeeze through. messed up the next couple of corners which brought mcglone back into the game, but managed to hold him off after some minor contact and came away slightly disappointed to finish 2nd lol.
The second race started pretty similarly, managed to pick off a few positions, but then ended up in a bit of a traffic jam behind some hairdresser in a pink mx5
noticed mcglone get to the front and start pulling away, and knew he'd start gapping the rest of us, soI think 4 of us got past Knight (who I believe was damaged in his defense) and started trying to make the gap up. It started getting a bit tactical after that, working out when to pit, with me and kamy pitting a lap before mcglone. ended up back in a 3 way scrap with the integras, with just too much of a gap to make up to 1st. Again, the last few laps were really intense, with some really good close racing, resulting in me coming 3rd, which I was a bit more satisfied with. I am slightly annoyed by the fact that there's loads of people below me in the championships with race wins though lol!
Having written all of that, it's occurred to me that pretty much everyone reading this was in the race, so probably know all of what I've just said already lol, ah well, kept me busy for 10 mins!
