Car power limitations are now 305 BHP due to the available options.

You can use what parts you want, but try to keep power-limiting above 95%
 
I really need to know the day for this - Right up my street but don't want to comit until I know I can.
 
BTCC Practice up now, My Lounge.

Can someone throw the regs on, I'm just sorting something out.

After the practice session today, turns out the 135i is too good so nobody is allowed to go that and so is the Atenza. I also suggested the Peugeot 207 but after much consideration on my part i feel it would be too small for taking part in comparison to other cars. Other cars suggested were the Citroen C4 and Zonda ZR1. lol.

I'd like to see some speculation on the matters at hand. Cheers guys!

After the practice session today, turns out the 135i is too good so nobody is allowed to go that and so is the Atenza. I also suggested the Peugeot 207 but after much consideration on my part i feel it would be too small for taking part in comparison to other cars. Other cars suggested were the Citroen C4 and Zonda ZR1. lol.

I'd like to see some speculation on the matters at hand. Cheers guys!

So now the Honda Integra/BMW and Mazda are banned?

This is getting stupid.

The fact is Knight is a fast driver and he was out in front regardless of what he was driving, and the track choice wasn't the best (for me), cape ring is hard to overtake safely, DFR is just a hard track in general. Trail mountain the Mazda were fast and I'm sure would have battled with the BMW/Honda's.

Set a PP limit and try the specs.

Also I think Jonhad (whatever his name was) was only running 288bhp?

Seriously tho I don't see the BM as a big issue......

(Plus it was early and I'm pumped up on pills) XD
 
Just like to say. Running in the toca BTCC and the BM is a class above the rest, even with a mid season ballast increase. It should be in but would need much more ballast.
 
I'll look into the regs for it then but its not getting banned regardles..

I think you mean me. Apologies for the mic issues, will sort that out.
The BMW has a lot more torque than anything else on the list. That I think warrants extra ballast at least.

Just my 2c. You all know I can't drive anyway :dopey:
 
I think the BMW is out of place now with the ability to get the power down in it's new power range, it's just a lil too pacey, and soo under-steery to drive.
I'm happy to knock it out of the series and bring in a couple more FF's.

Those Mazda's are quick, on cape ring, two passed me at once around the long left, then two passed Alex at once going into the chicane, I think some extra ballast would make them fit the series perfectly.

Next testing, (probably on Thurs if not tonight) all leave your car's tune's stock (susp, diff, aero) and we can compare the base cars.
 
right.. im now going all out to put a rwd caar in coz i aint getting planked with another FF.. regardless of what you saythere will be 1.. even if it means running the 120d...

wheres all the sudden moaning about it came from anyway? i had what, 10 laps with moleman? we were inch perfect and constantly swapping places so if you wanna remove it, then the teggy too. and anything else that keeps up for that matter.

We need to drop the integra to 1250kg though to let it be equal with the BMW on race pace, like it was then, it's on the spec sheet at 1330kg. I think you had better tyres after those 10 laps but we shouldn't be doing that many laps per stint anyway so seems ok :p

Maybe we then need to improve other cars to keep up though if we have to lower the integra's weight to keep up with the bmw.

Either that or add ballast to the bmw and keep the integra and others as they are.
 
I think all the cars are pretty equal...
Not being harsh or anything, but if you can't keep up then your probably not as fast driver :/
 
PP system would match them up but its more about how you set-up your car aswell fast drivers dont always mean fast cars

Cape ring would have been alot closer if I hadn't been held up (I saved the replay just for that overtake Chris mentioned) my fastest lap was 2s slower than in quali!

People have to remember that alot of us have been fine tuning our cars for awhile, so they should be faster than just pickin one and going for it.
 
Yeah.. Nathan is a fast driver.. Kamy..Kickstart.. McGlone..Alex.. Myself.. Moleman.. Regardless what you putis in we will more than likely get best potential from the car and in return have the car nerfed!.. If you arent fast with the regs as they are.. set your car up better or try and improve your lines etc..

The atenza is good, hence Sy & myself chose it, but I don't think its great round twisty tracks as it goes through tyres about twice as fast as every other car :) I'd like to see the C4 and 207 in, the more variation the more exciting, possibly :)

That is bang on the mark!

Stop complaining that the bmw is too fast. I managed last season to get the bmw to beat the honda's, A bit late but i did it. You have to learn the tracks and setups.

There's everyone moaning oh we need more RWD car's but now you want to get rid of one? WTF?

No doubt if mole and kamy was in practice last night then would be neck and neck with the Beamer.

Like you said last year myself and Kamy had to endure the "Integra is too fast" stuff for ages, but once a driver like mcglone had worked on a setup for his BMW he was right with us all the time - Kickstart in the Civic too actually. Knight was very quick in the MX5 too if he wasn't binning it into the wall >_>

We worked on setup from the beginning so were quick from the start. I also remember at Deep Forest that I didn't bother working on setup prior to the race and was 1.5secs off pole. A quick sneaky PM to grab Kamy's setup and I was on pole by a couple of tenths :sly: - Setup makes all the difference!

However just want to point out that the BMW has stayed at the same weight as last season, whilst the Integra put on 130kg on the spec sheet (Kamy, wtf man haha) - so the Integra is actually slow now (go try it) whereas last season it was about on par with those who'd also worked on a serious setup for their car. Can someone (Jimmy?) confirm that we'll drop the Integra to last season's weight limit of 1200kg?
 
So +50kg on last season? If so stick the Integra to 1250kg (+50kg on last season too) and we have a deal. :sly:
 
1200kgs? Thought you were matching the BM at 1250?

Anyway as others said BM should stay :)
