Lol knew someone'd say that, in my defense there was 2 days between them, not like it was one straight after the other lol
 
Probably not gonna be about Tuesday, have an exam next week so I need to get my study on. Sucks

Gives me time to get my wheel replaced tho so.....

Not too much fighting this time round at the front of the grid, Syjones knows he made a mistake and waited for me (following the rules of this series) so not much else could have been done, just be more cautious under braking from now on.

But Dave....

At the 27sec mark it is clear to see you come around the outside of me, and the second you pull in right in front of me, you brake, with no time for me to react!

Very sorry to all involved in that accident, very sorry to all BUT Chris! :)
 
You cheek!

With or without me there, there is no way you have made the corner using that braking point!
 
You stole the gap I was going to use to brake into! It was a careless move mate! Your lucky I'm not lodging a compaint :P
 
I dont race here but looking at the video and having raced suzuka alot in WSGTC, Pure and many other series to know that the orange car was going way too deep into the braking zone for the chicane. Also from what I can see the yellow BMW is braking at the same point the Integra (Moleman) and I rekon if the BMW went any later on the brakes hed of hit him. So from my point of view the blame falls on the orange car and should have waited for the BMW to give the spot back.

(Sorry if im interupting since I cant race till next season im just keeping an eye on the thread waiting patiently waiting for S3 :))

He took my braking zone away from me mate, giving me knowhere to go!! You can also brake later into that corner than everybody else did there with plenty of room to take the apex properly
 
yeah it definately is dave.

In a situation like so, I would have started to slow down a lot earlier than normal to allow a gap but not slam the brakes. I do it alot when racing actually. I initially slow down before braking points then use the car in front as a guide while I am stuck to the rear bumper or even judging my ground for a pass.

It's all in the mind sir!
 
Dave im agreeing with others. If a car does come in front of you have to act towards that. Don't say he's stole your braking space. It's happen to me before it i manged not to hit anyone. It's pretty careless to me. That what happens in racing. Also chris looked like he was braking at the right time, you still had your foot to the floor.

I'm also agreeing with others. You braked way to late for the chicane, obviously put off by the yellow BMW overtaking you because you weren't fast enough around 130R to keep him behind. I have to say though thats one nice tango'ed Toyota! Sounds nice to.
 
Fyi - I won't be around tomorrow night (Spa is awesome, so that's annoying :() - because there is football on - the mighty Palace are strolling into a Wembley cup final and I need to watch it. Yup.
 
im not being mean but it will be tough, It will be a good game but i'm not sure you guys will go through!

No passing turn 1, extreme caution in corners 2 + 3 [:cool: Dave :cool:]

Two wheels on track at all times (this means no use of run-offs), don't try any stupid passes at chicane + hairpins.
 
i left because had unreal laaaaaaaaaag :grumpy: GT5 servers needs a fix big time my internet is fine on any other game tho
 
2 absolutely epic races for me, race long battle for the lead in both races! Full credit to sy (both races), saggy (race 1) and knight (race 2) for some of the hardest, yet cleanest racing I've ever had the pleasure to be involved in on gt5 :-)
 
You gotta love the spa! Couple of lovely races guys. Somewhat peeved at having pole then starting I think in 7th, thanks PD.
Ruined my tyres getting back through the field then got mugged on the line. Strikers goals from kickstart & saggy! Race 2 was a leisurely cruise but I bolted to early & had to let knight back through. Apologies to kickstart, on lap 11 I pulled out on the kemmel straight to spot my braking point and ended up blocking him. Wasn't intensional. Made a few mistakes on my last lap and ended up getting mugged again! Kickstart, ever the the opportunist!
Congrats to kickstart & knight on their wins but I'm kicking myself as I should of won both races.

Incident: I know it's petty but knight straight lined the chicane on the last lap. Need to watch the replays for anything else.
