Sainsbury's insurance offered 1900 on a 1.4 340 volvo. Lol. Only problem trying to find that car.
 
Just get a blackbox and live with it for a year...
That's the way me (and all my mates since then) have been insured cheap ;)
 
McGlone you trying comparison websites? I just put a quote in for a 1.2 Fiat Grande punto 07 plate (Neighbours car) And I got quoted £110 a year by Quinns. Broker line insurance also had that sort of price. Try not using Comparison sites and phone arpound these places. What they say online isn't always the best quote!

Yeah i have been trying them sites. Mate i would love to get a quote at 110 quid. That's unreal.

Yeah i actually rung Direct Line and some other top company. They said the price you see online is the cheapest price you will get.

The Scud is only 900 buck as well. Just put it in!

I also put it in to we buy any car. They offered me £120,000 lol.. Some offer!
 
Got busy at Anglia Indoor Karting LTD today for my Bro's 14th.
I managed to get 'Best laptime today' of a 21.830 which is displayed on screens and the stats handouts. According to the Marshall, it's a really fast time! :D

250cc Kart + Drifting = So Fun! I even ran the tyre wall kissing it on the exit! :P
But then I set myself to post a fast time and done it in the first 12 laps of 36 on the busy sunday night! I surprised myself! o.O

Thats good but..
Would be awesome, get a drift car of choice, a trailer if wanted and you have a garage to work on it! Perfect! All you need is a local track and some time and money off work! Loads of fun! :p

I'd love a 'side project' such as a drift car :D
 
It's do-able no doubt. And I would love to do it. But if I were to do it, I'd do it right, and that's something I can't dedicate too!.

The R34 was supposed to be a side project but I ended up selling it as I didn't open a door on it for the whole period I had it!.

My fun time is spent in the pubs and clubs or in the cars racing up and down. As much fun as getting the tail out and doing doughnuts round roundabout's is, I don't think I'd enjoy actual drifting. I'm more of a track attack man!
 
Wait, R34.. Awesome! but awh, well one day you gotta do it! ;D It does take alot of dedication, time and money but hopefully so worth it! Just dont crash.. ;D

Tbh, I'd need some hyping up to get drifting. xD Mistakes can easily be made same as any motorsport I guess.

1.0L, but beaten a 1.2 corsa no problem. Rapid little cars in my opinion haha
I want a 1.3 or 1.5 Vitz Turbo! :D

4 Cylinder, 16V Twin cam VVTI. Toyota's VTEC. ;)
 
lol. People always assume, yeah I can drive a ridiculously fast car compared to what I drive, for the first time no problem.. Yeah ok.
 
Haha, I know it will feel fast but I bet a Vitz turbo would feel so much more than fast :p
I've driven loads of turbo car's... they were ALL diesel xD Not the same :(
 
They are to me, driven my sisters 150bhp golf gt. I've been in faster cars, but not driven them.
 
Yeah, it's more the sensation when you experience it for your self being in control that catches people off guard. Just imagine a 1200hp Twin Turbo Gallardo.... I'm gonna make it my mission to experience one of these things! Underground Racing version..

DSG = no fun!

However, I do like it in the Seat Ibiza Bocanegra though. Supercharged and Turbo Charged 1.4 TSI at 180 break. Awesome little car.
