GP and SL are owned by the same corporation.
Dumb move from them because a battle Saito Daigo VS Nakamura Naoki would have been epic.
Anyway; Nakamura don't give a single fcuk about all this, he just drift and have fun!
 
He was banned from GP first then made his way to SL but got banned after 1 season.
 
Not sure about Drift Muscle, but Nakoi did get into more trouble after being banned from D1.

There's a video of team burst leaving some big meet in japan, the first few guys make some noise and let a little smoke into the air, with the event managers telling them off. Then Nakamura comes out and pulls a massive burnout, completely smoking the place.

I read that some of his sponsors pulled the deal and a number of his cars were taken away from him.

Making loads of noise :lol: It's funny how that guy is tryna catch them or something.
 
Won't be hard for him to find some new sponsors. Seriously what do they guys a expect. It started on the streets and it will continue. But don't some other D1 drifters roll on the streets too. There called factory something. They use dark purple i think.
 
It won't be "that" easy for Naoki to find new sponsors. Which serious brand would like to be associated with someone that repeatedly infringe the law in a country where "everyone" respect the rules? It even makes him laugh when he do so.
Nakamura is a construction worker, they just don't give a fcuk (construction workers aren't average japanese) and if he can drift at Meihan or on the streets with Burst, his familly, all this drama is of no importance.
At the end of the day its not like he needed those sponsors to acquire his sick level in the first place.
 
He got banned from D1GP & D1SL for street drifting, his sponsers took his S15. I believe he had it back, now Masashi Yokoi (MCR Factory) uses it in D1GP. I'm pretty sure he isn't banned from Drift Muscle and he enters things like MSC & kansai allstars @ Meihan. The burnouts leaving Exciting Car Showdown did get him in some trouble, but as you can tell in the video (chris posted it above) the rest of Burst got in trouble aswell...
 
They just won't be invited at next year's NECS! I can tell a lit of visitors will not come for that reason alone. Joke is on the organizers.
