Hey guys, some of you know that D-Spec are going their seperate ways. I have recruited Jessie (JDMSupra317) who was formally the D-Spec leader. Jimmy, Welsh and other UDT originals will remember him well, he's a proper sound old boy and pretty good drifter. He's also mentioned that Rex_Minorstein (jimmy had 5 re-runs with him in the final) will be keen to join if we are able to accomodate him.

Nate & Alex I've told Jessie to add you guys as I won't be on tomorrow but yea he's a top bloke, uses a mic and is absolutely hilarious!

Im not sure if matsuri missiles are active, but SAi-66 is on an odd time. Boy their good!

Half of use cant make it on a sunday. At least not 2pm. Its too early. 6 or 7 pm suits all of us better

gold rush drifters are still really active but as most aren't on the gtp site. so we use the psn msg system and gt5 mesg boards for news
 
i know! that's the kinda crap you get over here! one of the best cars ever made and it has been abused by an idiot! second link would make me consider swapping my s5 for that one lol
 
Haha No i do not have 21k to spend on a vehicle. I am planning on drifting it, i need something i can mess up for awhile!

Hey guys. Had a few issues so i've been away. Spent time on LFS in the last day or two. I think we should NOT use hard tires in proper high end drifting as the soft tires relate to supers on LFS and mediums relate to normal tires on LFS. thats what I found anyway. We have tire wear disabled so that ain't a problem lol.
The XRT drifts nicely (just, slightly under powered imo) on normals and is under powered on supers. Has 300 break I think. So it does seem to relate to the gt5 tires loosely. You slide off the track when not moving on hard tires sometimes lol. I just feel if we are all so good maybe we should start using better tires.
 
You're talking about LFS? Please use the door you came through lol.. why you not playing gt5 instead? :(
 
Used an ebisu layout . Was awesome fun. Better force feedback. I got awesome bov sounds. Mad Mike RX8. Good stuff !

I haven't been the happyest bunny around lately. So couldn't be bothered with the same old driving an ice cube. But today used mediums and the gt5 physics model showed me something new... Grip xD
 
A corner in grand valley that tilts to the inside is really wierd you can never slide into the inside like you allways do with c.hards. but you slide out from that corner if your late on initiation.

When im driftin irl on icy lakes i have more grip than c.hards and my tires is far from new.
(lets not forget c.hards isnt used because of how close to realism they are, rather like its the most balanced tire to drift with.)

We havent really tried tandem with mediums tho.
