Atm whenever i join any GT5 game i dc, i think it is due to latest PS3 firmware...i'll tell you guys when the problem's fixed. :/

If you want to start it get a chain or strap, tow it to 15 mph and lift the clutch in 2nd gear. But this only works in manuals

powell.. im a mechanic....

I'm also happy again.. I just cleaned out a slot machine on Bet365.. boom £350 in my bank on the second spin :)

Any team out there want to battle with the team DriftNinja? I think my team are ready fot there first battle. I see alot of good teams out there and a friendly battle would be fun, let me if you are down for it. The battle will be livestream at justin.tv/uko_driftninja and also recorded for a vid project that will be at YouTube.com/ukoredgar2143

We have to battle Burst first but im dure we'll battle your team ;)

As for that RX7 Jimmy, its pretty nice :)

Lol I had one for a couple of weeks on loan and yes it was fun but I just don't like rotarys. I have always wanted to build an FD with an SR20DET (Silvia engine) or an LS1 V8 but knowing me this would get wildly and financially out of control so best wait till I have more money!

My mate owns one and when I asked what It was like to run his response was "As expensive as having a wife and a mistress... But also as fun as having a wife and a mistress!"

Thats not very fun then haha

Meh I like Rotary's.. What don't you like? Plus that model looks pretty clean.. And they ain't so expensive. I have a mate with a white 1 and he runs it as a day to day car...

he means that the engine is not very reliable. (what mazda rotaries are famed for)

Just gotta know how to take care of them. I was at a drift event one day and this guy was trying to blow up his motor and it just wouldn't go.

No thats not what I mean... if I was worried about reliability I would'nt be buying a TVR! Also I know LOADS of people with rotarys varying from 12A's right through to 26B's and none have ever had any reliability problems. The only thing that goes is the apex seals after a lot of miles.

What I don't like is the noise and the power delivery of the rotary, its really just personal preference.

thats like the reason why you have a rotary the lovely engine noise!!
the main problem with rotary is emissions but it cant be hard to convert them to ethanol fuel?
you gain some hp too :)

I suppose you dont like 2-stroke sound either?

cerv, emissions? last thing on my mind lol
We all know that rotary is as thirsty as a v8.
I dont know how strict they are on emissions in your country..
In sweden the most common reason people sell rx7 is because they cant pass the yearly inspection(not the right word?)because of the emissions..

nah the threshold for cars emissions here are funny. You can have a coal engine pass an MOT (Yearly test) on emissions. Even though they always go on about emissions! It's not very leniant! I MOT'd an old lexus a year or 2 ago and it passed with a HUGE hole in the cat lol...

Hahaha, I'll tell you a funny story :3 My dad had an old MK1 Honda Prelude, it had TSM rims (No idea what they were), but they were about 18/19". I had been lowered about 60mm.. seriously it was about 1" of the ground, and it had this stupid ricey front bumper and sideskirt xD. It also had uprated brake & 6-pot calipers, a 3" Downpipe & had a De-cat pipe... so yes, was VERY ****in loud. It screamed V-TAAAAAAAAAAK!! going down the motorway at 70MPH.. but the emission on that thing were so bad, it had rust holes under the arches, bumpers were ziptied and it was clearly way over the sound limit... but yet, it still passed it's MOT xD I thought... wtf? I "was" supposed to inherit that V-TAK P.O.S but one day a Porsche 911 GT2 greatly decided it would be funny to blindly overtake my dad, my dad clipped him, the porsche went flying into a ditch and the whole rear end of his car (porsche) had been crumpled because he hit a lamppost whilst spinning xD My dad's car suffered a D-Class write-off :(. I still find it funny that my dad thought he was cool in his ricey P.O.J.D.M.S :sly:

haha.. The amount of people that bring De-Cat cars in for an MOT is funny. */10 times it will fail but you always get that 1 lucky person!

Hahaha, common sense would tell them.. but the Cat back on until you've passed the test, then put your De-Cat back on :D. Most of the time, boy "ricers" don't have a scooby about what they're doing.

I'd rather have a V8 if it's to pay huge gas bills.
But not a V8 on an RX7 and not an American V8.
Last week end I went to a drift competition where there was Team orange doing demos (Sumika Kubokawa is gorgeous) and there was a dude with an RPS13 with a VH45DE (4,5L Infiniti v8) in it. It sounded lovely and makes quite nice power/torque stock (350hp/330nm).
