Aww mate every mechanic hates cars when they have to answer truthfully. If you're A mechanic and you love cars, your doing the wrong job!

I just dont get these guys obsessed with constantly working and talking about cars and always wanting to fix the,. GET A NEW HOBBY! lol. Fair enough if it's motor sports but not A freaking Punto!

I know what you mean. If work in a back street garage doing MOT's for years you'll hate cars with passion. At least now you might start to enjoy it though. I was looking at mechanic apprenticeships a while back and the reality is if I did that I would end up in a back street garage wanting to kill myself. Oh and are you talking about chavs and thier punto's?
 
Haha yeah I know what you mean.. Erm not just just chavs and there punto's. I mean anyone obsessed with there car to the point where it's all they talk about lol

I know what jimmy means. I've done hands on work in th motor industry and hated cars as a result. Now I'm more behind the scenes office boy / on the road and it's not so bad.

Just wish I wasn't representing cheap pieces of Korean.....

ok so I admit I haven't had time to come on gtp lately but when did I get dropped from the fringes of the team? I know I never competed (mainly didnt want to get involved due to untrustworthy internet.) but I thought I could still loiter around in the background and act as one of the team photog's? A message on PSN would have been nice lol

ok so is anyone willing to let me re-apply or something? My internet seems to be getting more reliable especially the later in the evening the better. I was online with Adz last night although was a little too wasted to really do anything noteworthy lol
 
I love cars!

I'm 15 but my Father owns a transport company and I service/maintain all the lorries and vans and cars. I don't mind doing it, i just love cars and love building things, etc.

I wouldn't be a genious with cars, (yet) but I know how to service them, change filters, brakes, tires, but I love to work with cars!
 
It's ok man I was thinking about you the other day when we were in the room. I assumed you werent around but dont worry!

Also Powell your mad! Just wait for the day where you strip the engine out A car and build altogether to fiind that there is still an internal problem! Or when you can't reach that tiny 8mm bolt hidden behind the inlet manifold where you cant get your hands near, Or even worse, the car that you just cannot diagnose and have no idea what to do apart from strip everything! 1 thing that would be very handy right now is A peugeot/Renault specialist to comment on here coz I currently have A stinker of A problem lol.. End of the day if you do something so stressful for long enough it will get to you lol. Changing brakes and servicing cars for A living is somethig I would jump at! Such easy work to just get on with. Never A problem too hard that can't be solved.

Heres A cracker.
Skoda superb
Double wishbone layout with 2 arms on the top. 1 bolt joins these 2 arms to the strut. The bolt is pretty damn long so when it seizes, it seizes. I had this problem this morning. You finally get it turning but the bolt snaps. So now I have A huge bolt with nothing holding it in other than rust. Heating it up does nothing after punishing it with heat and A hammer.. After 3 hours it finally went! 1 olt took me 3 hours.. Yeah that's why I hate cars. Also had A similar problem with an old Renault 5 GT Turbo Gearbox yesterday. I hate em! I know the job I'm about to start will be 10x worse because any mistake will be insanely expensive! Although I won't go joyriding an F40 and cause $300,000 worth of damage though.

I would also happilly work on classics if anyone wants to open up A classic car garage?

hey, its only 3am :P I got school in 4 days. This entire month The earliest time I went to sleep was 2am the latest I stayed up was 5am.

Its 1:12am here I'm getting ready to go to bed just got back from the movies. I have court today so need to get mu beauty sleep cause today my son is finally going to have my last name!
