He bought s2 so we've been practising, had a little seshy with warren aswell :D

The room was purely hilarious in the hour or so after you left, not laughed so hard in a while!

Oh and Nate, I managed to find L2L (drifterz) in that speedhunters lobby. It's pretty cool to recognise a number of names from gtp in LFS.

Driving force: EX, 108 degree wheel. Handbrake and clutch buttons set, but gears are just on the flappy paddles.

Yeah get it's a totaly different exp than GT5 but its so nice when you get it right (specialy with an H-shifter + clutch) i use my DFGT with a custom home made H-shifter + old pedals from formula force GP ...


BTW DEENIE! get online on GT5 and join me will ya!

Oh and someone get cracking on a meihan track, cheerio.
 
I had a look at servers when L2L was on. You can run the server from in the game with whatever track etc, incl custom lay's. Had some annoying error when he tried to join (+ vice versa), i opened up ports but still no. I wonder if a Hamachi server is possible, I'll take a look tomorrow and try to get an online server working. Once we can connect we can do whatever the goddamn hell we want! And yes that includes the meihan lay.

There was an Ebisu lay in the Speedhunters server which was pretty awesome, and included all the cuts and extensions from rfactor

EDIT 2: A guy in my old lfs team used to run a server and i'm pretty sure that you have to pay for server hosting to run it through the game,,,

He searched my name to join and it found my server name, but just had a problem joining it, and I was in the server so it looks like it works fine. I know in most games you can pay a website to host a dedicated server, but that's different.
 
Most are 24/7 (properly dedicated) servers, the in game hosting is similar to how we ran terraria.

Have you got S1 or S2 because I think you can only host servers with S2.
 
bad company 3 beta's pretty good, there's a lot of glitch's but its just a beta :P
