Briliant, bang on 12:25, my connecton comes back at full speed, I'm too sure Virgin Network are trying to mess me up. If the same happens tomorrow their helpline's getting some angry complaints!

Chris, Virgin cap your internet if you download/upload excessive amounts during peak times (3pm-11pm weekdays 1pm-11pm weekends). Normally it's just 75% cap but over the past year they've been capping it down to 1mb roughly. If you're on 10mb with virgin (i am) you can download roughly 800mb before they cap you, which can last a good 5-10 hours depending.
 
Yesterday, I had not touched the web until 8:30, where I got home and it was stuffed to the point where I essentially had no internet. DNS errors on every website on all hardware. Today I had been on all day, not doing anything excessive, just GT and LFS. Come 7:00, switching back to GT, everything's fine, click to join the lads in a server and BOOM, everything stops dead! Restart router and the only thing I could vaguely use was Skype, which was pratting up itself. Ran some speedtests from my ipod at 12, was getting 35 ping, 0.00 upload, 0.00 download.
 
Sounds like a problem on there part. If it helps any, My talk talk has been doing something similar. I'm getting no connection whatsoever on the ps3, google chrome and most p.c games but yet skype connects and it is always a perfectly clear signal. A couple of my friends have been getting the same problem with different providers.
 
And again works perfectly now, was screwed this morning :s.

I find it weird that they cap your internet if you use it too much. Here in Sweden they would never do such a thing and I've never heard about anyone over here that had that problem.

I mean, you pay to have the kind of connection you have, right? So if they cap your connection they're basically robbing you if I understand everything correctly.

Yeah, I seem to be just as lucky as last season as far as not missing races goes, although (goddamn just realised) I will likely not be able to make the next one :(
