Dedicated Server Up

I'm on the pc doing something or other often so the server will be up often

Look for server directly and put GTP_D-Max Drift World

Password = dmax

There is an admin password which will be given to certain people :)

(commands like /track KY1 will become availabel to change track to kyoto ring layout 1)
Kicking, banning, etc, all done with admin rights :) most will know this anyway :)

I'll be online on skype if ya want to contact me @ gt-welsh

Up for a bit of LFS drifting most of the time :P
 
Its okay, FFB is great, server admin controls are great, physics are great.

But the whole "artistic" side of the game sucks. plus no moddification of car power sucks. Itul do though.

Skinning can be fun :) You can EASILY swap setups with people by pressing n and sending your setup to someone in the list of names lool, great feature.


There are many many mods. Which I will look into if my server gets popular (it will be open a lot :) if I see someone in I'll more than likely jump in and tandem ;)

Is it for just S2 goers. I wouldn't mind popping in to watch if not.
 
I can run the server in S1 mode... But I guess most (including me) have S2 and I doubt S1 could join S2, even to spectate.
The new S2 version 0.7B has much improved collision physics, MUCH improved :) .
Should be fun with a few on board.

I would update to S2 if I had a wheel...and could drift, so at the moment its pointless.
 
sup girls. been too busy with work and the oddie recently and haven't been on GT5 or this. I'll be on today if any of you wanna come on for a little sesh. Well i might be!

Also I've just received news that I will be making the trip to Italy for 3 days to be shown how the 458 Italia roof is constructed/repaired if anything ever goes wrong. Will be going on December 15. Can't wait!!

Not sure if I can get the dedicated server to run this but I think the in-game server will just fine. THINK.

Download this. unpack TO THE ROOT FOLDER OF LFS.

Double click LFS_ND_TH.exe to start the game, no files edited, so its not game wrecking... this gives the low power XRG (kinda 200SX) 374bhp (2.0ltr SR20DET turbo @ 22psi apparently lol)
And much nicer and wider wheels. Hellaflush if you lower it enough ;)

XRT has a 2.2ltr 12psi turbo engine. (not even 300 bhp. useless when compared to the others)

And upps the power of the FZ5 (kinda Porsche) a bit to match the XRG. (371bhp)

So if I run the server using that game file. and you join with that game file, I'm assuming it will work ? No idea tbh.


THIS FIXES ONE HUGE THING...


the "TH" bit on the exe file means Tire Heat Mod.... Tires dont heat up and die in 5 seconds... I think they dont degrade at all. Not tested it enough yet.


Also includes steering lock mod (lots of lock available)


So get it running guys !!!

ALL you have to do is click the new LFS start file ;) (LFS_ND_TH.exe)

How do you unpack it? Most downloads are .rar files and I can't change it to access the dds files.
And by the way, we're technically talking about illegal stuffs.
 
Is it illegal ? It might be :/ but mods for lfs are plastered all over the internet, and people openly mod it. Plus this doesnt perminantly change any game files, so even if modding is illegal, this probably isnt.

Its a zip file, so 7zip, winzip, winrar, pretty sure windows itself has the ability to do it also ;) .

Also to Maximus, we are group of friends who are not on very often and don't drift a huge amount so we're not really taking anyone. Sorry but theres no point in telling you that you can join then you never see us online.

Im on ps3 most days, just not always on gt5 or drifting...
 
We are on A monday night most times lol... Well not at the moment but we were. You still at College Welsh? Oh and I take it you broke up with the mrs since you were talking about that wee tidy from college? lol
