I supported him against the turbo thing when the honda's was like a few seconds in front leaving the rest but now there is no excuse. I wanted Mat Jackson to do well , he's suffered a lot of bad luck. Also a shame that Frank Wrathall isn't up the top fighting.

I lol'd at the crash at the start of the race.

Just signed up to that C.A.R.S thing, The community funded racing sim, shift 2 graphics with updated "sim" physics. Quite exciteing. Weekly builds I've signed up for :) .

Also I was only after the DMax skin, due to previously being in the GTP DMax team, I never left but no longer have a PS3. So I don't even know where I stand haha xD .

Nice set of skins though !! :D .

I've just played it... ITS BEYOND AMAZING !!!! OMGOMGOMGOGMOG ;)

Graphics are based on shift 2 but much much improved (D11 I ran it with too) . A lot less jaggy lines etc etc.

BARELY any input lag, infact on the DTM Audi, none at all.

Audi DTM was just amazing, as I can compare to Race07 DTM mod. this C.A.R.S is in a different league !


Apparently its PC only untill they can scale it to work on consoles. This is essensially their "sorry" for shift 2 being not so sim like I take it.

Its essentially a pre-alpha I think. Not sure. Wow for a pre-alpha !

I'll take some screenies from the DTM to show :) No replay mode as of yet though, but 360 car view in game which is fun :) .

I've asked about drifting compatiable physics for the game :) as shift 2 is disgusting to drift.

Upon playing it again... There is without doubt some effects missing from the screenies. Looks better when you play it. Its something to do with "post-processing" with certain effects done after its renderd, therfor not applied to screenshots, or something.

Upon nearly spinning out and actually spinning out in the Audi R11 LM car. I can confirm the physics looks, so far, drift compatible. The wheel aids countersteer and things propperly, things that shift 2 failed at.

Will post more pics in the PC-Gaming area.
