yeah my brother has had a Punto Grandé that has lasted like 60k on the same bridgestones. hes a ridiculously smooth driver though.

I'm not messing but you could put a gt starlet engine in it if you have a bit to spare. Their fast enough.
 
Engine swaps cost a lot of money and are a pain in the arse ;)
 
Swaps like that aren't too bad becausm their small simple engines.
 
Yes but , it needs all the ancillaries , wiring , fuel pump , gearbox , possible upgraded driveshafts , clutch . It's a right pain ...
 
Just buy a crashed car. I'd say lots of any racers have some crashed gt's.
 
yeah the GT's engine requires more faffing around.. unless your hell bent on it, it's a waste of time imo. for the price of the car and the job you could get something fast.
 
Its still a pain in the arse , the main conversions I'd consider would be mk2 gti engine or a VAG 1.8t . They have been done many times before so their are lots of faq's and stuff ;)
