Oh BTW, Tyre wear is a BIG part of these races, especially the pressure battle, where racing is supposed to increase in difficulty throughout.

What's happening with quallifying? Are we allowed to watch people whenever, or certain times in certain rooms? Anyway, just a couple of other things, but I'll talk on ps3 or skype later
 
Qualifying is not tonight, unless some people want to put in their times early, but each driver only gets one attempt at his three laps.

The NSX is deadly when it gets a sniff of oversteer lol tank slappers but it is has really good top end :)
 
We will record commentaries for the Autumn ring mini race as it was just hilarious today!!!! Those who weren't there missed out, I can't wait for the series start XD!!!
 
NSX is second to the Lexus as the smoothest car to tune for me.. So easy to get it to your preference.

Any news on the tyre front? don't be pussy's and run Softs.. that totally spoils it
 
Any chance i could change from the NSX to the woodone GTR? i really cant drive it now especially after the update

Cars I guess can be changed, re apply, making clear that it's an update.

Will have to look at tyres now, do some serious testing on the set tracks.

Chris, i've raced in multiple series where i'm racing for 15/20 laps full on pressure. Nurburgring isn't any different. It's A track, as is Laguna. For some it's an easy track, others not so much. Same as every other track. I'm just saying these cars are far too easy to drive on softs. Consider Hards!

I'm not saying I'd wipe the floor but I LOVE GT500 and they are so good to tune and they are most definately at best on Hards!
 
Really sorry lads but Im gonna have to withdraw. I didnt see the day and time of the races before I signed up :dunce:.

By the Way: The stealths are faster than the rest of the cars if they're all at the same specs....also the stealths require ballast which means the positioning of weight transfer can be changed which is advantagious...
 
As I've said Jimmy, we will be looking at changing the tyres anyway, just wait till I've been able to do more testing.

The NSX is spot on 1100KG without ballast

Its not just the ballast positioning which makes it advantagious. The Pure series are restricting the bhp to 502 for the stealth whereas the other GTR's are on 518 bhp....The Pure series have done sooo much testing and they have concluded that the stealths will smoke the rest at the same specs. Its your call, my opinion is irrelevant anyway since Im not joining :lol: just giving a heads up 👍

Your right! But 9/10 times the guys who drive the Stealth models can't drive in A straight line.

But yeah, the Stealths need limited! I didn't notice they were allowed in

Drivers can just use their pure counterparts.

Fair enough, I only wanted to be different!

I'll go for the slowest Lexus then, guessing it's the Orange one (Hate normal GTRs and not good enough to tame the NSX!)

I'm changing to a wheel for this anyway so I'm gonna be getting used to that aswell, I want a nice stable ride so I don't cause any issues for others so I reckon the Lexus is the best option!
 
Those who wish to qualify within the next few days post on here and I'll see when I should host the first qualifying session.

Tyres are restricted to any racing tyres, this allows for individual strategy's across all events.

RS Tyres now act as supersofts (quali tyres) and I advise to use them cautiously, as they will be good for 2 laps of Suzuka at most.
