yes, I believe that's all of them. In the last count I heard there were only those 3.

Where can I win the Mazda BP FALKEN RX-7 (D1GP) '03? Thanks.

prize car for the Turbo Car Cup in pro events - if memory serves.
There's a prize car list in the GT4 main forum (have to go through stickies to get to it).

haha, PLEASE DONT. i wonder how many ppl actually did this with Millen's GTO in mind........
the yellow GTO didn't do that bad in the drift comps out here in cali... i think its kinda sad how people make fun of it... i saw it run at Forumla Drift... it was hitting some nice lines, plenty of tire smoke and getting close to the wall.... good enough to get in the top 5 i believe.... 👍

didnt a new viper win it all in the drift comps. here in the US? I know the GTO didnt do too bad either. I read an article about it in road and track or something, pretty sick car.

and as far as the GTO, Your better off using a Holden, the US GTO has a softer suspension that prioritizes comfort over performance. But of course that might not make a difference at all since youll probably be upgrading the suspension anyways.

wow, sharp eye ketis 👍

Then I must have really weak eyes; what is it what I didn't notice??

Edit: OOW I now see he quoted the part " I know it's >NOT< a drift car" So I now see t has D1 on it's wing (That still means I have weak eyes for the quoting part)

that was the competition coupe, which is now banned. Millens GTO is one crazy car, you should see all the fabrication going into that car.

anyways, like everyone else stated, thats all the cars, and the option Z is not made for drifting, but for top speed runs. the owner of the car is the co-founder of the D1Gp i believe....i wish they had Ueno's Soarer in this game...

D1 car with a parachute, right?

My friend's 240 also has a D1 sticker, so he must be in D1 as well.. 💡

I'm pretty sure the guy with the viper did end up winning that event, but I don't *think* that was a D1 event, I think the guy with the 285 hp Levin won the D1GP in the US. But yeah, there's a lot more different cars entering D1 these days, the GTO, vipers, corvettes, BMWs, it's not just for broke teenagers and twenty-somethings anymore!

well if they put the car with the D1 sticker in the game i think it would be one i never said it competed but it still can be a D1 car. How many vehicles have you seen in a game with a D1 sticker that is random like your friend's wanna be drifter

If you read that page, maybe you'll understand the connection between that car and D1 and why I wouldn't call this a D1 car.

D1 and Forumula Drift is 2 different things... just wanna clear that up.. and the sponsers drift car (Mopar) was a viper. they also had a black viper sponsered by Benihana that was drifting by a pro japanese drifter during the exhibition. i actually saw it the other day at Blast racing... awesome looking viper... 👍

yeah youre right, i was thinking Formula D.

I noticed this year toyo and falken are each sponsoring a mustang in the Formula D. pretty cool.

yea i've already seen all the new falken cars.... intresting colors but sweet cars..

I'm revivng a pretty old thread now, but those risks come with the search button lol.
So far I thought I hated the D1 cars, they just spin out too fast, one moment in lower RPM it doesn't spin AT ALL, and then suddenly all hell breaks loose(spinnig out of control). I tried the HKS Silvia, and the Option wich is not a D1 car but well.........

Are these D1 cars the same for the handling bit, refering to my problem with them?
Cause before I start racing for prize cars and money immediatly, is there a chance that the RX-7 D1 car or the D1 Blitz car handle more balanced?

PS. I never tried other settings again cause with the HKS silvia I keeped having the same problems somehow after some tuning:irked:

Why was the viper banned?

I like seeing the GTO drift, its pretty tight hearing something besides buzzing.

I think it might be cause it's a race bred car and not completely built by the person or team off of a street car unlike millen's GTO which started as a street car also if you look at all the cars in D1 and fromula d they all started off as street cars and got modded but i dunno thats my guess =P

Well, imo that doesn't really make sense because if you look at the rest of the cars, they're basically race cars with all kinds of mods. They were just built by a team.

I think its because the viper was whoopin the compitition, and just like nascar, they can't have that.

the z is a d1 car go to the d1 grand prix site and look at the roster
it the first car on the very top it run by the owner of d1 if i'm not mistaken

"edit" http://www.d1gp.com/index.asp?PageAction=Custom&ID=3 <----right there exact link car on very very top it's the founders car he does run it but for show i think...

Ow my mistake, but can anyone anwser if these cars have any differences in handling or are they set up like that so that they all handle the same?

if you read the d1gp rules, the cars must be built for street use. this means no tube chassis anywhere, (only roll cages are acceptable), and a cat converter must be installed.

This is only a guess, but I would assume that by the looks of that viper, it seems like that car was built for American GT racing. I could be wrong.
