Knockhill with hills - A recreation of the Knockhill circuit drawn "freehand" on Eifel in order to get some hills. The hills are obviously not exact (first corner dips down quite accurately) and it works well. Final hairpin not as tight as it should be due to limitations with the TPE. Exact length.

Personally I'm a big fan of the GT Logo track by @daan as it plays really well, and the first corner is quite possibly the best first corner I have ever experienced.

Death By Valley - A rather bumpy, but still driveable, desert track.

Eifel Over - A completely undriveable, hilly, bumpy course that's a lot of fun. (Eifel over. I fell over. D'you see what I did there?)

___________

I seem to have created Croft. Although the scale is off (mine is bigger) and it goes wrong at the complex/hairpin as the creator can't cope with the tight turns and the proximity of the track.

There's no kerbs or scenery yet. I'll add some in later tonight.

Nice job Daan! The little modifications required so it works in the creator look great from what I can see compared to the real circuit. I've got to give this a try.

Daan - give Knockhill a go!

Can you do elevation changes in the course maker? - i was under the impression that you only have whats already there on the templates to work with.

Courses like Knockhill, as well as Cadwell Park, Oulton Park and Donington, all rely on elevation to make sense.

You can only use such topography as is already there. If you have a good track map and a fine hand, you can draw the track onto one of the non-flat maps rather than tracing it onto Eifel Flat - though it'll be guesswork.

How did you manage to fit the pit straight in the correct location? On my attempt it was far too long so I had to place it on the back 'straight'
It's not quite right but it's not too far out.

Ahh, looks good :)👍 top work.
Trying to think of circuits with long pit straights that are predominantly flat. I may attempt a very old version on Silverstone if I can find a suitable map and the time.

Do you think those humps could be used to recreate the Seattle circuit (GT4?) somehow?
I doubt it. The humps seem a bit random and it'd be pretty impossible to get the rest of the topography to fit.
