I've just created a track inspired by the old 15km Spa. It's obviously not as long as that but it's roughly the right shape.

Hi daan, you seem to be the only one answering stupid questions, though I haven't really checked that many threads. I was looking for a course creator FAQ, but found nothing. Plus, your cow shooting technique is among my fondest memories of GT, not related to GT, as well as the cider spilling.

Would I be correct in saying I can recreate real-life tracks using Eifel (not flat) and without tracing them (maybe from memory or quick looking at the original track), but the hills and bumps would be wherever the track decided they are? I'm asking because I've downloaded some good tracks with cool downhill hairpins that are mountains, but I'm not sure how I would go about doing that.

Yes, and yes. The only thing you can do is to chose another start line position and hope that terrain fits better.
