Daily races - changing car selection

Is it possible to change your car selection within qualifying or do you have always exit and rejoin?
I know its possible if i select time trial. Am i missing something?

No. As its online youre linked to that car. So yes you have to go out, change and come back.

I don’t understand why you can’t do this, I like to try a few out sometimes!

Neither do I. If I do a few races I change it up a lot. Use a different car each race. Rarely use Meta car (fastest drivers car).

That's what the qualifying part is for ...
