Dear Polyphony Digital,

When you recently (accidentally) introduced a glitch that allowed players to acquire as many 4* tickets, engine swap tickets or NSX Rally cars as they wanted, a lot of us took advantage of the glitch to acquire 4* tickets. I think I can say that the majority of us didn't participate because we just wanted loads of free 4* tickets, but more so because the award for reaching the daily workout often isn't worth the effort. The current payout structure for actual races is roughly 10k-20k for shorter 10 to 15 minute races, upto 500k (excluding Clean Race Reward) for around 30 minute races and upto 1.2mill for hour long races. You can see from this that those shorter races pay out substantially less than the longer races on a time invested vs. reward given basis. A lot of us like to do those shorter races because it provides more variety - do one race with a certain car and then move on to another race with a different car and so on, rather than just grinding 1 race for 30 minutes to an hour. We get to drive different tracks and different cars, but the payout for this approach is meager, so we exploited the ticket glitch to actually get rewards that were worth the time invested. To go back to often getting 3 and 4 star tickets that seem to only pay 10k credits at best, feels like a huge let down, which is detrimental to my interest in playing this game for longer stints of time i.e. do the daily workout and go play something else. The roulette needs to be reworked, so if 5 items appear on the roulette, we have a 20% chance of winning any of them, instead of the smoke and mirror show that it currently is.

WELL SAID!! There has to be a more fair reward system in place rather than LUCK or how they code the algorithms (if there are any algorithms in place).

I haven't really been tracking the roulettes on my GTP account, but I have been on my Plus account, where I started on 4/20 to take advantage of the pre-order bonus, the extra 1 million credits for the 1.08/1.09 lockdown and the auto-invites for those disappearing early. Let's see if we can find a pattern:

First, a note - Just because a cash prize is visible during a spin, that doesn't mean that it is actually available. I have seen coins (between 2,000 and 30,000 Cr.) and/or a single bar (100,000 Cr.) visible on a 6-star roulette, but only the 500,000 Cr. and 1,000,000 Cr. options are possible. I have also seen multiple bars on a 1-star (my first, actually), but the highest possible (and what I got) was a single bar for 100,000 Cr. I have clarified between the two in the breakdown, but will continue to note what is visible, not what is possible, in the notes section of the chart.

Of the 135 tickets (18 1-star/4 guaranteed via the cafe, 11 2-star/2 guaranteed, 37 3-star/4 guaranteed, 52 4-star/7 guaranted, 6 5-star/1 guaranteed, 7 normal 6-star/3 guaranteed, 3 engine 6-star/2 guaranteed, and 1 parts 6-star/1 guaranteed) on the Plus account as of 8/19/2022 (no jubilee here):
  • 87 have been the low-cash prize (when at least 2 cash prizes were present; not necessarily the lowest-possible)
  • 6 have been the 2nd-smallest cash prize (when at least 3 cash prizes were present)
  • 2 have been the 3rd-smallest cash prize (when at least 4 cash prizes were present)
  • None have been the 4th-smallest cash prize on an all-cash wheel (at least one of the 5 visible cash prizes is not possible to win)
  • 4 have been the big-cash prize
  • 11 have been for cars
  • 8 have been for common parts (including 2 completely worthless parts for which better versions can be bought)
  • 4 have been for special parts
  • 6 have been for engines
  • 7 have been for invites (4 extending active invites)
Of the 99 cash prizes:
  • 6 have been for 2,000 Cr.
  • 29 have been for 5,000 Cr.
  • 35 have been for 10,000 Cr.
  • 14 have been for 30,000 Cr.
  • 8 have been for 100,000 Cr. (including one on a 1-star ticket and two on 3-star tickets)

THEY NEED TO KEEP ENGINE PARTS OUT OF THE REWARDS. JUST PUT THEM IN THE SHOP WITH OTHERS... Rewards are a JOKE! They might as well just dish out what they wanna give you each day just for starting the game that way you dont have to waste your time racing for 30 mins or more. Time to look for a new race game sorry I pre-ordered this thinking/reading it was gonna be great.

I think that previous patch (1.17) that added engine and special part 6-start tickekts changed something more because today, afert FOUR MONTHS of playing, I received for the very first time 5-star ticket.
