Yesterday Marathon

Extremely rare I get a 6 start, and even more rare to get something good from it

Unfortunately it's a car I own already so sold it, but not bad still 1.1M cash. Which helps me getting Closer to 20M for the legendary 330 P4

Hey guys. Could be coincidence, but I have never had a run of tickets this bad:-)) Since 1.59 from the last 7 tickets I had 5 tickets 3* and 2 tickets 4*. All 3 star tickets were 5K.

I think, for some reason, GT7 now decided to penalize me for something:-))

Ten Roulette Tickets! 80% rubbish!

Two 6-Star: LaFerrari '13 and Carbon Ceramic Brake Kit (NSX Type R '02)

One 5-Star: RC F GT3 prototype '16

Six 4-Star: High Lift Cam Shaft (R8 Coupe V10 plus '16), Nitrous System (Huracan LP 610-4 '15), Cr.30,000, Cr.10,000, Cr.10,000, and Cr.10,000

One 3-Star: Cr.5000

An invitation car. That’s worth a life. Been waiting for it 6 months

You have probably seen it. It was funny:-)

I hope they change this system in GT8. It’s absurd to play with our mental sanity this way. Easy as once you complete the marathon or whatever they come up with in GT8 give a prize, an only prize, no roulette or options available.

This roulette system and the invitation cars are worst GT7 offers.

I am just gonna collect tickets for a month just because.

They obviously have experts and data to see what is going on. I am sure they gave done many simulations on the best way to implement it to keep people on the hook.

On one side, most are frustrated, but at the same time this thread exists, people record statistic in files and people think about this last invite they are missing.

Like in my case, can you imagine how illogical that is? Within the valid period of the first Ferrari invite I have 2 more Ferrari invites. In real world it would never happen! Ferrari would know they have invited me to buy the car and the invite is still valid.

yeah, I'm sure it's based on something. However, the history of videogaming (and pretty much every other human endeavor) is littered with occasions where decisions were made that for some reason seemed right at the time but that turned out to be mistakes in the long run.

Leaving aside the today's 6* one , nothing looks promising.

The only interest i had was if the 6* ticket hide another gr3 car as previous 3 times .
Hopefully didn't.....

3*
2X5k plus 2X10k ( oh my God, am rich 🤣 )

4*
10k and 30k

6*
500k and hopefully the bad luck stops.

Have a good Sunday .

Nice list of tickets mate, enjoy the rest of your extended Memorial Day weekend.

No GT7 yesterday. Probably missed a 6* and 1M Cr. 🤣
I was wondering, when you skip a day (marathon) the ticket roulette that you got the day after, it would be the same that you had received the day before or it´s another one.

I think the only way to test it would be to save the game date on an USB external device, do the marathon, and the day after load the game save from the day before.

I think it is not related, but I am not sure. Maybe we scroll a very long list and open tickets one after the other.

nah. It's random (based of course on a bunch of probabilities that influence the result). You do a marathon and a ticket gets rolled up.

Today I got a 3 star ticket. So let's have a look...well we have a 1M pile of gold ingots there but of course that won't be won. There is also a 500K pile though and that would be great! Oh, and there's a car...that would be OK. Heck, even that 30K pile of change there would be pretty good. But of course, there's also that useless racing muffler there...so we all know where the wheel is going to stop.

There's no way to know, but you need to bear three things in mind - two in favour of "not random" and one complication:

It absolutely was not random in GT Sport. You could actually test it and, yes, it always delivered the same cars from Daily Workout tickets in the same order no matter what you did, and it seemed that it was simply repurposed GT5 UCD code. Reusing code is not exactly an unusual practice.

The order changed after content updates too, when new cars got put into the list. So do GT7's ticket rewards...

But of course GTS's tickets were just cars every day. GT7's are complicated by the fact that there's eight different types of them, at six different levels, and the rewards that each can possibly deliver vary too.

We can't check how GT7 works as we did with previous games, but it's not much of a stretch to assume that there's a predetermined list you rattle down each time you meet the requirements (like GT5 and GTS), with Collector Level modifiers for the ticket stars.

I think the only way to test it would be to save the game date on an USB external device, do the marathon, and the day after load the game save from the day before.
Which is what GT7's online saves are set up to prevent, and why we can't check how it works.
