No first shot CRBs this week either. The last lap of the Fuji race, a car width of dry line and an ocean everywhere else, and a lapped car apparently panics at the sight of water and does an emergency braking right at the apex. Two options, hit the AI or do an evasive manoeuvre and aquaplane into the scenery. **** I hate those ****ers.

Pretty decent week .
In the Euro Sunday I tried to stay in the suggested PP and tried Jeje's 399pp tune of a Captur. Great tune, lots of grip, but the two laps weren't enough. Finished in second 3 ticks behind. So I went to a 479pp Porsche tune of Jeje. Just wanted to end the race. Easy. lol
For the American FR I went with my go-to in the Vintage/Historical races, Mustang Boss on SS. Easy win.
Got Gold in the TT on my second try so ended it there.
Hypercars gets my norm Hyper FXXK. Too easy. lol
For the WTC, I used the last car I won this race in,detuned Lexus Gr.2. No pits. Rain as always at the start and continued until halfway through 7. Half of the field went in at lap 5 for IM's, the rest went in at 6. Then some of them went in again on 9 when the track was drying. I stayed out on Wets and won over Tidge by a minute even after geting punted by Mik Hizal during one of the downpour laps.
Ticket got me only 500k.
Now on to my revenge Power Pack races. lol

Anyone else not receiving the rewards of the weekly challenges?
It happened to me a long time ago because I changed the time zone to do them earlier (and we learnt at that time it was causing the issue), but I didn't do anything like this these last days...

I've just done the Power Pack races before (and had the rewards), I hope this is not a new issue.

The issue can, although it couldn't originally, also be caused by still being in the previous set when midnight passes on Friday morning to update them.

Happened to me as well some time back, waited way to long to finish the last race and when I did, it was a bit over midnight, so 5 new races with only regular credit rewards... 🤦‍♂️

Started on heavy rain with Wet tyres. End of the rain at laps 6. No pit stop (Fm4). I manage tyres and fuel for one stint but front tyres are gone and fuel 0,9 lap for the last lap !

After completing the new Nordschleife reverse CE this afternoon ( although I'll most likely return to improve on my full lap ) I felt like I should reward myself with a bit of extra fun and relaxation. So I took one of my very retro vintage hypercars to Yas Marina for a glorious race win. ! Proof you don't have to spend 4M bucks to be fast ...

My two highlights for this week's stock car challenge, the European Sunday Cup 400, and the American FR Challenge.

Finding a stock car under the suggested 400 PP for the Sunday Cup was difficult. The Peugeot 205 GTI '88 was the only car up for the challenge. Took me all morning to get it though.



Apparently Trial Mountain is located somewhere in Sierra Nevada so for the American FR Challenge I thought why not try the Ford Sierra RS 500 Cosworth '88. This too proved difficult to win with a CRB. This one took all afternoon filling up my day. Good times. Love this game. 😍

This week’s set was good, loved that WTC race starting with heavy rain with it coming to a stop at lap 8 which made me drive on the wet parts of the track for a no stop stint. The Hypercar was as always won in the handling department. Fun set with lots of replayability!!

Designated hitters:

1) European Sunday Cup - Renault Twingo ‘93; 419PP Sport Hard tires: Fun fun fun!!! It’s happy face says it all!!!

2) American FR Challenge - Chevrolet Camaro Z28 ‘69; 599PP Sport Medium tires: Classic torque monster with long gears perfect for cruising the Pacific Northwest and also hunting down other dinosaurs 😎

3) Hypercar Parade - Porsche 918 Spyder ‘13; 799PP Racing Soft tires: Bought one of my favorite track tuned cars for a battle with the Valkyrie wich didn’t disappoint! Perfect balance this Spider is 😄!

4) WTC 800 - Porsche 911 GT3 RS ‘16; 748PP Heavy Wet tires and engine swapped: The wolf in sheep’s clothing little brother to the almighty RSR GT3 car, awesome engine sound and easy to catch in rain, without sacrificing any creature comfort!

This Week's Theme: Powered By Ford



Euro Sunday Cup 400: The Mangusta is quite the challenge to tame in stock form. Needs some suspension tweaks for sure and the brakes are merely suggestions. Luckily, the good ole 289ci moves it down the straight well enough to win.

American FR 550: The standard GT350 is such a great driving vintage car. I think I put Comfort Softs on and adjusted the final drive to not run out of gear down the back straight. Another great race was had. I find it interesting that the displacement equals 260ci but labeled correctly as a 289ci. 🤔


TT Time Trial: first run was silver and too cautious. Second try was gold.

Hypercar Parade: Maverick 351 swapped Ford GT '17. A V6 in a Ford supercar is sacrilegious to me and adding those 2 extra cylinders makes it right. Yas Marina is the perfect playground for all that horsepower and made light work of this.


WTC 800: The GT GTLM is a first drive for me. I absolutely loathe this race because it combines two things I dont particularly enjoy. First, Fuji is one my least favorites, especially that third sector. Then add monsoon weather to that, Fuji becomes an ice rink. This race is so unfun for me that I just want to get it over with. Tiptoeing around for the first 7 laps before I stopped for more fuel. It started drying out at the end of lap 8 and finally got to put the hammer down to the finish. One and done for me.

It’s a week without annoying races. And I used:
Gamepad | Automatic transmission | Race Difficulty – Hard

#5 | World Touring Car 800 | Fuji International Raceway
F3500-A | PP 800 | IM tyres | FM 4 | no pit
Seeing that it was raining, I immediately put on the IM tyres and they were enough for the whole race. Fuel map 4 allowed me to complete the race without a pit stop. Overall, the race was uneventful.

#4 | Hypercar Parade | Yas Marina Circuit
Ferrari FXX K ‘14 | PP 785 | RS tyres
The main task in this race was to run away from Valkyrie. As usual, she started to catch up with me quickly on the last lap, but I had enough time to finish the race with a 4-second advantage.

#3 | Time Trial | Alsace – Village Reverse
Audi TT 3.2 Quattro
Got the gold on the second attempt. I didn't waste time on improving the result.

#2 | American FR Challenge 550 | Trial Mountain Circuit Reverse
Pontiac Firebird Trans Am ‘78 | PP 550 | SM tyres
I don't know why I chose this car, but it fully met my expectations. Powerful and well-controlled, it allowed me to win even without NOS.

#1 | Sunday Cup 400 | Kyoto Driving Park – Yamagiwa
Peugeot 208 GTi Sport '14 | PP 400 | CS tyres | NOS
I spent a lot of time on different cars to win with the PP 400, but to no avail. Then I saw that the Peugeot 208 was the fastest in the race and I tried it out. But I could only win with NOS.

I got 500000 Cr. on the 6-star roulette ticket.

My 3 PP's for the week. All repeats, Laguna Seca was a win for the first time. The last two have been won previously and I just wanted to test out my cars. I'm getting close to the longer races so I'll have to do more repeats until I have time for those long ones.

European Sunday Cup 400: Volvo V40 T5 '13. Stock except the tyre. Went for sport hard. Got P1 just before the last corner and just held it in the drag race to the line. Win + CRB ✅
American FR Challenge 550: Ford Mustang Boss 429 '69. Weight reduction, sport medium tyre, racing brakes + pads. Should have adjusted the gears because it tops out at around 195kph 🤣 Did win though... CRB ✅
Hypercar Parade: Ferrari LaFerrari '13. RM tyre is all you need. Amazing car, easy win. Not even the Valkyrie can keep up! CRB🚩 Track limits ugh...
World Touring Car 800: Ferrari 296 Gr.3. MV33 started on full rain tyres. After lap 6 went in for softs. Some AI pitted even 3 times. Rain -> inter -> new inter/fuel -> dry for the last lap??? Easy win! CRB✅
Special Event: First try: wall on exit T3. 2nd try: 50.775 good for gold, not geen enough for me. 3rd-6th try: wall/grass. 7th try: 49.7xx thank you, goodbye. 🤣
