ah ok...yeah I don't think of engines as having any value really since they can't be flipped for cash. I've got several dozen engines in the storage shed. I did actually use one recently though! My grind car burned through it's fifth (or sixth??) engine and I happened to have the right one on hand so bobs your uncle lol...

I think they show you the value just to show what it would cost in GT Auto. But it's actually probably mostly so they can taunt you by showing you the value of what you can't sell.

When you say it burned through the engine, you're talking above and beyond the Engine Rebuild, or whatever it is in GT Auto? My 787B that I use for all the WTC 800/900 races just finally hit me with a drop to "Normal" for both Engine and Structure.

I replace them when they hit "worn" status. Mostly just because it's something to spend some money on lol, although the car performance does degrade a bit too...

Been using the same car for every single Sardegna grind race I've run since pretty much the first one. I've probably done 8 or 9 hundred of them or more.
