As far as I know, it got changed now, to 1 car to anyone on your friends list. ex. John can send Jack a car. But then John can't send Mike a car, because he already used his 1 car gift. That's how it was explained to me anyways, I didn't try gifting in a while.

Fix to the X2010's: Delete all the X2010's from everyone's garages, and re-award the ones that have been earned from Vettel/Level 35 B-Spec. Then make it so that you can't send the X2010, just like the stealth cars. Simple, everyone who has earned their own X2010 still keeps it, dupes go poof and are gone. :D

Agreed. Trading should be limited to the mundane cars, leave the exclusive cars to be earned though credits or prizes. Then it would make sense to open up the trading limit.

For the X2010 it would be easy, delete them all and re award based on the game status on the console. I really doubt that anyone who earned an X2010 would give it away if they lost it forever, and all the dupes would go poof.
 
:lol: Imagine the rage that would break out all over the internet as cheaters' X2010s suddenly disappeared. That is exactly what they should do though.

This is one of the limitations I could never understand.
It would be greatly appreciated if this were removed.

By the way, thank you so much for the HUD removal option, it made the game even better. 👍

NO! Taking off the copy protection was the worst thing PD has done and removing this limit gives ahem, people the ability to duplicate unlimited cars to make up for their limited skill. I personally hope Kaz deletes all X1's from everyones accounts then makes them specifically un-giftable...Glitching/cheating is for losers.



It already has buddy, just take a look at the marketplace where the one week wonders that aren't even level 20 yet
have multiple X1's and other cars. PD made an excellent game, shame these losers are ruining it. It's great knowing I went to the effort of getting this car myself only to see these lowlifes snatch one up out of thin air.

People would be furious, I already find no fun in driving the X1, it blows away the competition.
People spend many hours to get Gold.
The performance is no difference, but it's a rare colour to get it in.
It's worse than restarting a 24 hour endurance race at the last second.

Jeez guys IF Kaz wanted to do this, why do you think it would be as stupid and crude as what you guys seem to think is the only way to do it.

The people that have gotten the X1 legitmately would still have the Trpohies in the special events and their PSN. So if there WAS a way for PD to remove cars from your garage, they could also easily make it all traded X1s dissapear but the people that got them on their own account keep em.

But I doubt they will ever do this. Its too late, theres millions of other cars duplicated as well now.

I dont even knwo if its possible for them to do this. The best Hope I have is the cars are tagged with an originating account when they were traded, and they set up online lobbys where you can only use cars you have earned yourself.

I guess they will have to learn for gt6 if you're going to be competing online you must use an online save. i.e both data loss and cheating problems solved. The offline people can continue to mess with thier saves or get 100% comepleted ones off the net, and it wont matter cos theyre only playing by themsleves. I fully support modification of offline games. You shoudl be able to do what you want. But online should be striclty controlled.
 
2 or 3 trades a day would be perfect, no more than that.
They could also give you the chance of doing all your 7 trades from a week on the same day, and then would not be able to do any more for the next 7 days.

3 - 5 would be nice indeed.
Now it's as much as anyone want anyway, 8 users total on one ps3 i think. 1 main, so that leaves 7. But if someone are not lazy enough, to delete "old user 1" with one psn account and making a new user 1 and sign to another psn account, then copy the right save from usb/hdd to ps3.. well, it's pretty much unlimited trading already.
So, while 1 car per day doesn't affect "heavy traders" that much, it does affect normal people, who would like to trade a few cars with friends or with random people without bothering too much.

Also i lol'ed at some elitists in this thread. "I have the X1 and i'm feeling so proud and cool, those newbies are not worthy to have that car". =)
 
Come on, it's blatantly obvious the only reason people want this increasing is for duplicating. It seems some people only play this game to dupe now, it's quite sad.

Beyond duping what other reason would you have for sending more than one car a day?

wow, aren't you stuck up real bad. take a moment, count to 10, and then think why is so important to YOU that other people should not get unlimited cars? Are those cars disappearing from your garage? Are you writing a book on honourable game playing and the brotherhood of the GT community?

Jeez, some people take themselves too seriously sometimes.
 
Would be great to be able to send more cars, I often send cars to friends I no longer have a need for as you get **** all for selling them, but it would only increase the amount of duping that is going on :-(
 
You know I don't see what the big deal is about this whole duping/trading/glitching thing. You see, and i mean no offense by this but some people have life's and job's,I work 50 to 60 hours a week and have a wife and kid and really only have time to play on the weekends and maybe 1 hour a night during the week and that's if I don't spend time with the wifey:nervous::scared:
I'm sorry I don't have hours and hours to play the same track just so I can get a few million credits to go buy 2-3 car and mod them. I want to have all the cars now because all I want to do is tune cars and run time attacks and play with friends, I could care less about GT mode.
I'll be level 30 A-spec by tomorrow and have no doubt the I will easily get bronze for the X2010 challenge but the only thing I plan on using it for is grinding and even then I don't think it will be that fun,I don't even really like the FGT just use it to grind too then go have fun in real cars. They should make all the cars about 1/4 the price they are currently are that way you could at least get 6-9 cars and mod them and have more "FUN TIME" between grinding.
So all you internet cops should get off your high horse and just play your OWN game and let everybody else play the way they want to play.
Now then, back to grinding

I believe if it wasn't for the ridiculously priced cars and the slow rate of earning CR ingame, then people will find no reasons to resort to full time car duping just to do the 1 to 1 car trades for rare cars to high valued cars. Until they either do a 80% mark down on the car's purchased prices at the current rate of earning CR ingame, then it should all be balanced out. Till then, this madness of trading 1 car per day must end if they are to retain it's foothold as the better online racing community experience vs Forza 3.

If this game was purely offline like 1 - 4 I wouldn't care what others are doing, it's their game, but since this game is online as well people are cheating their way to better cars to use online that may beat me in the cars I've been able to afford playing legit.

EDIT: The other thing is unaware people trading their hard earned cars to people duping cars. I think most people know about it now but to start with people were sending out all their hard earned cars in return for a duped X2010, so the duper was losing nothing but time and gaining lots of rare cars.
 
Yawn i would like to see "GIFTING" or two cars a day. FYI there is no trading in the game but what players twisted the gift system into.

And lets not turn this into another OMG cheaters are ruining my game thread, cause we sure got enough of them, and they are not ruining your game you are free to play your game online or offline anyway you choose no matter what other people are doing.
 
Dear Kaz,

Please consider removing the one trade per day restriction. I know your justification is to force people to play the game longer (the same goes for your ridiculous XP system that renders the license tests useless) but forcing our hand is only souring our experience with the game. You are just delaying the inevitable anyway. Thanks for your time.
