Yep, it looks like January 14th will be the first day. I really hope I can catch some of the earlier parts of the rally in Europe, because I only got to see the African stages last year.
I was watching some of this rally the other day -
There was a mercedes 4x4 stuck as it had broken down, and it was just sat in the middle of the desert, then another 4x4 came along the same route and managed to crash into the stranded merc 4x4!!! In the hundreds of miles of empty desert you'd bet against someone crashing into another car I'm sure !!!! jw
