Some people on here really cant see the forest for the trees and really need to step away from the internet browser lol

To be honest, I wouldn't mind a little more realism in customizing the engines. Choosing a cam, carbueration, timing, etc... Iy would be fun!
 
I love the fact that all the people that said "I can't wait!" didn't read the article (and didm't realize it was fake). With this, you would have to pay real money to fix your cars, and your friends would have to help you. Also sounds more like more micromanagement than a roller caster tycoon game. Come on people...

But that wouldn´t even explain a April´s fool-joke in March ;)

It doesn´t matter, what date on your magazine is, but what date it really is.
How stupid must a magazine editorial staff be to bring April´s fool jokes in a magazine released in March, just because there is printed 4/11 on the cover?

The April issue generally arrives mid-March to subscribers' doorsteps, where as it won't be seen at the news stand 'til nearer the end of the month. That same issue will likely stay on the shelf 'til mid-late April, when May's issue arrives.

Make sense now? Or would you prefer your April Fools jokes on the fifteenth of next month? Or how about the Christmas issue released mid-January?

I think the most sad part is that it's believable enough. It actually sounds like something PD would add.

So are the rules of motor sport, including a proper flag & penalty system, I wish you would take that aspect of the game to the next level as most players like to mainly race in GT5.

It was in an effort to show how ridiculous the (source) article was, not how dumb people were to believe what they were told by someone who read it.
 
Yeah, this is an April Fool's Joke that was thought up by someone who knows nothing about programming. An update like that would be huge. And what would be the point of having a separate 2 car garage. I mean, if you're gonna include a repair bay, I'd think you'd be able to fit more than that in there. A damage update would be cool, but, I don't think it'll happen on the PS3.
