This sucks balls! Now I have to get through yet another day at work before I can play. Whatever happened to the days when the date on the website was the day it was in the store. Why don't they just automatically add a day so to the posted release date so guys like me don't have to get so pissed off???
 
I can't imagine the game stores are too happy either, constantly getting calls about game availability the day before it's in the store (speaking for myself).
 
hmm, based on the press and promotion this game has received in my area I'd be surprised if smaller retailers got more than 10 calls and the guy at BestBuy looked at me like I'd asked him if the sky was green when I asked if they had TT today.

The guy at our local Gamestop said they had a lot of pre-orders for it. Hope it does well enough to justify a sequel.
 
Press and promotion doesn't mean much, really. The vast majority of games never see a single TV commercial, and yet they sell quite nicely.

I was at Best Buy today, and asked about it. The girl said they were expecting them tomorrow. And she knew exactly what I was asking for without having to look it up. Which means I wasn't the first one to ask about it.
 
There was another guy searching at my BestBuy and both online retailers in my area are sold out, so it probably did well, but I'd be surprised if they were mega-busy as all the places I searched the person had to look up when it arrived.

where are you that your best buy had it??? mine didnt. i called 2 of em and neither had it.

well i talked to the guy at gamestop and im picking it up after HE CALLS ME!!! i gave him my number and he said hed be more than happy to call be as soon as it gets in...what service!?

i buy all my games at GAME CRAZY and i did pre-order this game, but i called today and they said it will be in tomarrow.
 
Games usually come out on Wednesdays now. It sucks, the date they post is usually the shipping date. They should just put April 5th!

wait a tick...it says $49.99...i thought it was retailing for $39.99..

thats what ive seen over and over...or are you in canada?? that would be understandable

it also states that ps2's greatest hits are 19.99, that is accurate for our price. :confused: i wonder what it will be then..:irked:
 
I got my copy !! I live in New York and I got it at EB Games. It always seems like NY gets stuff before other places, this was the case with GT4 also. Best Buy didnt have it yet though. Im wasting time typing, I should be screaming around Valencia.:sly:
