I didn't know damn was an obscene word...

I've heard damn used in children's cartoons!
Some people just try to make trouble where this is none.
Perhaps it's stress from their job as a cork soaker at the local winery? You've got to be careful around those cork soakers. :sly:

Even though some people here have said that you can't buy the Veyron (I think), I saw one for sale for 2,000,000 credits with 0 km. Of course I haven't been able to save more than 1,000,000, so that was my damn it moment.

Its not the "damn" that have everyone upset, its using the Lords name in vain(que the predictably arrogant atheist attack).

They only teach home training in the south, i see...

I wanted to drive the Caterham Fireblade on Top Gear Test Track just like the Stig!

But of course it one of the final prize cars from the Polyphony F1 Championship :(

I see tons of stuff in that lot I can't afford, but then I look at the little "S" and realize I already own it. In GT4. For 4 times less. U mad PD?

Since this could actually be a discussion about the original topic, and not an off-topic flamewar on one of the oldest flamewar topics on the interwebs, the title is now changed, and this is a no-religion/atheism discussion zone, as of now.

Next person to sling some mud gets an infraction.

Enjoy the new title, courtesy of your friendly neighbourhood propane (and propane accessory) enthusiast.

Last week right after I got the game, I was searching and searching for a car to use for a themed race (I think it was the British Classics), and I finally saw a car I really wanted to get for the race in the Used Car dealer, but I -just- couldn't afford it. So I ran two races to get the credits, and it was bumped off the list. Took me two more days to get another car that worked for me. I moved on and finished the Amateur Series and half the Professional before finding a car to do that beginner race.

:( <----- This was me.

So I'm dying to get a Cerbera Speed 12. I've been doing loads of B-Spec races today while I work, and decided to check the Used Cars. At the bottom of the list is a 259,874cr Speed 12 with 74km on the clock, 799bhp, 1020kg...

My A-Spec is level 20, the car is level 21. Absolutely sod's law! On the plus side, there's a Mustang SVT Cobra R '00 just above it, so it's not all bad.

Anyone else had similar moments? I did have one when I first started the game, the Mine's Evo VI showed up in the very first batch, 150,000ish cr, and I was nowhere near the required level. I guess we'll be playing the game for a long time to come so it's not such a problem, but even so!

Does anyone know at wha level the RUF RGT is? This is the one I'm looking for.:)

I've raced against a Speed 12, but haven't found one yet. hough if you really think about it. . . from the gaming perspective (as opposed to racer's) levels and random spawns at the used dealership do make things very interesting. It also makes it feel like you've actually done somethng becuase across heaven nd earth, you've got the car you're after.

I had the Formula GT come up on my used car list when I had more than enough money, over 5,500,000 credits. Unfortunately, I was level 23. Now I wait again...
